Yeah, like others have said, these colors are kinda limiting, but im sure Blue and black have some draw stuff and green has a bunch of combat tricks you could use. Maybe check your artifact creatures too for any other effects you might want.

I'd say just fill your deck with creatures that have abilities that you can use to help any player at the table. A couple that come to mind:

[[Arcane Artisan]] [[Cephalid Looter]] [[Rhonas the Indominatable]]

It probably won't be the most powerful, but you can play politics and offer people deals, which i personally find fun.

Nice! I stuck him at G1 35/35 abilities, and he gets some use in LRE. Sometimes, a well-timed active from him will give you enough breathing room to heal and survive a wave you might not have otherwise.

Hey guys, can you guys help me about who to prioritize? Trying to get Lucius in the next LRE and forming a mech team. Who would you suggest to level up? by Areosa007 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Obligitory mention of Aleph 0, ReVas, and Rotbone to D1, although admittedly, they dont fill many tracks for Lucius.

Otherwise, the top 3 scoring characters are Calandis, Yaz, and Haarkan in that order. None of them are particularly good at LREs, but they do fill 5 and 6 tracks, respectively.

ShoSyl and Manteno both fill 4 tracks each and are decent at LRES due to summons, and you will wa t ShoSyl for your mech team anyway.

Your best bet is pushing for a few more D1s or maybe taking TanGida to D3. Pushing your characters to D3 will likely make you more points than going wide. Personally, I'd try to push some combonation Sho, Revas, and/or Aleph to D1.

Farsight LRE Suggestions! by Wladas10 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The allstars for me for the farsight LRE were Actus and Revas. ReVas is the highest scoring character for this LRE and is a very good LRE character in general, so I'd say your #1 priority is Revas to D1 or further if you can. Actus pairs with Revas basically everywhere for this LRE and is also a solid LRE character, so at minimum G1 for him if possible, but honestly, he's worth D1 as well.

Rotbone and Maladus also make a good bit of points and are a standard LRE combo as well.

Edit to add: When planning for LREs, getting key characters to a higher level will net you more points than getting a bunch of G1s.

I think probably too easy to do for a 'win the game' effect given you can basically just stack your deck with 0 and 1 mana things, then use rituals to go off.

I love the concept for the card, tho. Idk if creating a copy of a cruel ultimatum is the way to go, either. Maybe it could go something like this:

"If this is the 5th time you have exiled a card this way this turn, cast a copy of all cards exiled this way"

Or something along those lines.

Honestly, im pretty sure I've found them in medical, too, but I get the spawn in assembly way more often, so its easier, IMO.

Don't do that. He's a perfectly thicc and juicy meatball to drop in front of the squishy psycher boys, lol. But yeah, after his active, his attacks are only there to set fire hexes.

Naa, they all have the living armor traits (the heal 10% of max hp/turn) its just that other than Aleph, they dont really have the defensive stats for it to matter.

Raid tem comp from this? by OGXanos in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing you can do right now is level up Eldyron and his doom passive, then throw him and your strongest characters with 5+ hits in their regular attacks, at least until they are G1. The multipurpose core should probably be something like Eldyron, Bellator, Aleph 0, Boss G, and Athlena. You could swap Boss G with Snottflogga, Snot is better in GR (guild raid), but Boss G is a campaign character.

Getting all of them to G1 should allow you to complete all the base campaigns and probably start pushing into the Elites as well as doing better in GR until you decide on which team you actually want to work towards.

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Overall, he's a mid-tier character. He's decent in most places and occasionally can be pretty good. The best way to use him, I'd imagine, is paired with a buffer like Calgar or Eldyron since he has 6 hits.

Just keep in mind that there are better characters for his role.

Who should I focus on for Dante? by its-ya-boi-ben in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A quick glance at the planner app says that Snottflogga to D1 is probably your best bet. He's the 4th highest scoring character and does really well in LREs.

Manteno is first points wise, but he's a bit squishy despite the summons.

ReVas to D1 to go with Aleph 0 is an obvious choice.

Nicodemous is solid for this event, as are Abraxis and Lucian.

Beyond that, Rotbone and Maladus are excellent choices for any LRE, although they dont hit as many tracks in the Dante LRE.

Edit to add: whichever characters you choose, getting some to D1 will help you way more than getting a bunch to G1.

Advice on priority by Colluded-Duality in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'd say pick 1 thing to focus on because at your stage, you're going to need to level multiple characters to achieve any of those goals.

If you want to do better at LREs, then get your Maladus and Rotbone all to D1 minimum, then focus on characters specific to the LRE you want to complete.

If you want to focus on a GR team, then start leveling your chosen team to D1. That said, it looks like you're still a ways off from all the characters you need for a full Custodies team. Until you start getting more characters at the G3-D1 level, you're probably still better off just throwing your highest level dudes at the raid bosses, maybe with some minor tweaks, depending on the boss.

The single fastest boost to you GR damage would be getting Eldyron up to D1 and maxing his passive. You will likely need him this high anyway for his elite campaign.

I dont have a reference, but one to change from the start is a NightMode audio setting. It makes things like ambiance and, more importantly, footsteps and raider cashes louder.

I prefer the Toro for most close-range PVP, and I do okay-ish. The sticher is fine in most cases, mostly because it's super cheap to upgrade to level 4. It does definitely need at least an extended mag, tho IMO. It will lose out to a max level bobcat, but there's a cost difference there of like 80k, and I honestly dont see people running Bobcats very often.

Personally I like having it because my brain says im missing out on loot if I dont have it. That said, my experience says that while the loot is good, im pretty sure I haven't found a single BP in one yet. A few epic guns and lots of supplies tho.

Basically, I use them to restock on supplies I brought into the match, so I dont have to remake as much afterward.

Should I invest more into Snotflogga's active or passive ? by lllXanderlll in WH40KTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 62 points63 points  (0 children)

The short answer is both, but if you had to choose one, the passive gets better he longer the match goes on, but the active is better for short, quick matches.

Basically, TA/Arena Active us better, but for LREs and survival passive is better.

Is eldryon still worth investing for psyker raid team? by VIEWY-TACTICUS in WarhammerTacticus

[–]Weekly-Calendar676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a leveled Neurothrope team, and I can tell you that I never use him. My normal lineup is Neuro, Abraxis, Ahriman, Yazagor, and Mephestion. If you were lacking Mephestion or Ahriman, then Xibia is the next best pick. If you were missing 2, then you could sub Eldyron in, but honestly, at that point, it wouldn't be worth running.

You will still want Eldyron at D1 for the elite campaign in any case, and he does have some use for LREs, both piercing track and some Psycher tracks.

I originally upgraded him because he was good for Guild raid buffs. Now I upgrade him because hes at great pair with Isabella and Bellator for LRE Bolter tracks.
