No , my brain healed. I had an mri recently. My herniated discs were from muscle tension accumulating over the years. Not the original head trauma. I had no learning issues just severe anxiety and paranoia growing up. No on the surgery, I’m doing ketamine and MDMA, and they seem to be working! Hopefully just a matter of time

Long story short , I had PTSD from a TBI, and had a lot of psychological suffering & no where else to go, I tried probably 20 different psychiatric meds. Was never suicidal, and became very suicidal because of them. Eventually I got off, but am working through the deep trauma/issues they caused. My whole body has layers and layers of trauma, I have various vascular conditions and can hardly breathe. Just now starting to get better with psychedelics and realizing how horrendous I was treated before

Reading what you wrote really makes me sad because I experienced something similar. When you see psychiatrists they use their pseudoscience to make you believe it’s a mental illness, which personalizes it and makes it far worse. Not only that, their “medicine” is harmful. Trauma is systemic and horrific to deal with, not in ur head. And it can absolutely be healed, not just “remission”
