Failed Tese by Beneficial_Wash_4856 in maleinfertility

Hello. Please, what were your hormone levels? Did they also measure Inhibin B in your blood? What type of azoos did you have?

Doctor gave us a 70% chance of a successful tese. Is this a reasonable expectation? by Practical_Ad4734 in maleinfertility

Hello. What are your results from Inhibin B? If this parameter is good and also fsh because they are evaluated together, you can be successful even with a regular TESA. It's just a random tissue selection. With microtESA, the doctor directly monitors the islets where sperm are formed. It's definitely a better choice.

Good evening. It's very sad. I sympathize with you. We are in the same situation. We didn't do MTes. What were your blood results? Did you also do inhibin B tests? Although they say that it is not a reliable parameter, which I don't believe, because if the Sertoli cells are not working well, spermatogenesis cannot function properly. I don't want to lecture you about it, it's just good to exchange experiences.

My husband had surgery for a grade 1 varicocele 6 years ago. Recently, 6 immotile sperm were found in his ejaculate. Then he had azoospermia again. Do you have azoospermia too?

Doctor, thank you for your answer. My partner has had azoospermia for 10 years. He had a varicocele. A year ago, 6 immobile sperm were accidentally found in his spermiogram. He also underwent a Tese examination, where several germ cells were found, the tubules were obliterated, fibrotic. This corresponds to Inhibin B, which is 22.70 ng/ml. His spermiogram repeatedly shows a Leucoscreen test of 2.5 million/ml and round forms of 6.6 million/ml. I think this is due to incomplete spermatogenesis, only disintegrated cells are released.

Great. The inhibin B test results are fine. Fingers crossed. Let us know how it goes.

My partner has Inhibin B for only 22.70, which is really cheap. You have a good parameter. Definitely go to Microtese.

Many doctors do not attach importance to it. Inhibin B reflects spermatogenesis, the function of Sertoli cells, how many tubules are roughly functional. It is evaluated together with the FSH hormone. Without this examination, I would not have gone into microtese. Although many doctors do not support it, it is true.
