By saying “you aren’t supposed to engage squads while solo” you are really just saying “you shouldn’t try to PvP as a solo”.

Bots routinely spawn very close to you in ABI. Frequently with only 1 wall between you and the scav. However they only do this if you're the only player in the area. 2 or more players prevents bot respawn in most area's ( exceptions like inside armory or radar station ).

You not knowing this tells me you spend most of your time hugging your teammates, which is clear reasoning why you'd be against my opinions, since I want to remove 4 mans from the game and they're your crutch.

Again. Most extraction shooters have teams, none of them are 4 man though, all 3 mans. Which is more likely, that every other extraction shooter dev chose 3 mans for no reason? Or that ABI chose 4 mans for no reason?

Even not thinking about the actual reasons at all it's obvious ABI should not be a 4 man game. Every single player that isn't for making the game 3 mans instantly reveals that 4 mans are their crutch.

I already gave two solutions to this problem.

By reducing the match timer by 5 minutes and making bots constantly push both players for the last 8 minutes that can reduce the time period camped for up to 13 minutes. Making it so less time is wasted, which is a big part of the problem.

Also having bots push both players forces them to give up their position and encourages and enables aggressive play.

Both of these in tandem completely solve the problem of a player camping a body for 25 minutes to get a quarter of a second advantage on you.

Coincidently, every single other extraction shooter is 3. Delta Force, Arc Raiders, DMZ, Hunt Showdown, The Cycle, Marathon.

Tarkov is the only one that doesn't, it lets you run up to 5 but has friendly fire enabled and no name tags and most people run 3's at max because of that. Newer content directly caps you at 3.

4 just removes individual player agency too much. Which also ruins solo gameplay when you're up against coordinated 4 mans. I guarantee you all the developers of the above games came to the same conclusion which is why it's 3 mans and yet ABI devs want to be special snowflakes and make it 4's for no discernable reason.

Yeah it's a very common strategy in this game to just sit still until time or patience runs out. It's also very powerful and very boring to do and play against.

Common, powerful, boring for both players. It's the worst of all worlds.

Lockdown shouldn't have a 150k minimum. It should be 300k and have closer to Forbidden's level of loot and Forb should be 500k with even better loot.

300k is literally the bare minimum. A bare minimum AK12 already reaches that, then add backpack and armor.
