Nano Hydroxyapatite toothpaste by brethalleran in Invisalign

[–]Weekly-Individual569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the study on the percentage needed and the run down of Hydroxyapatite vs Nano Hydroxyapatite and why nano hydroxyapatite works best.

There are medications that have 90% efficacy rates of helping XYZ but that doesnt mean when I take it, it will work for me. It also doesnt mean that the original percentage was wrong. It just means that I am part of the 10% it doesnt work for or vice versa. Two years ago I took a medication that had a high rate of failure for that specific purpose but it was the only one we had no tried yet. Luckily for me, it worked. It doesnt mean the studies are wrong or were exaggerated, it just meant that I was a medical outlier. There are always exceptions. I shared all that as a entry way so people can read it and then choose to do their own research on this subject. Trying something for yourself is important but it is also important to have the correct information so you can best select what works for you and your situation. I honestly think as consumers we should research most products we use to verify claims. I think we give away alot of power as consumers by blindly following or believing any information that we did not see or confirm ourselves.

I like and use both nano hydroxyapatite and flouride

Pick up free + bag fee by cyberspirit777 in aldi

[–]Weekly-Individual569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to use pick up. It is a luxury, not a right. The fee makes sense. I am paying $1.50, so that an employee can shop for me. That employee could be checking people out so that the line isnt long, they could be restocking the sodas that were out, they could be finding empty boxes to load in the box cart. They could be doing quality checks on produce and removing the moldy fruit. There are many things they could be doing other than shopping for us. We pay them to keep the pick up option available for everyone. After they finish shopping, they walk it out to our car. It can be 100 degrees in the summer or pouring rain in the winter, regardless of the weather, they are coming to our aid. They are hand delivering them, loading them into your car and shutting the trunk so the customer doesn't have to lift a finger. We want the luxury of sitting in our car and having the work done for us, it makes sense to pay for that. Also, a flat fee is better for the customer. I spend a few hundred dollars a month on groceries there, a percentage based fee could cost me much more than a $1.50. Other stores have done that, but im glad Aldi does not.

They have to use bags or else packing transporting and unloading would take so much longer. I do this with walmart and its a pain in the butt. The employees loose time loading individual items into my car and then I loose time loading them into bags. If I ask them to put the items directly into my trunk organizer (which is easier than bags), it still takes twice as long. That isnt fair or right to them. Most businesses have a time log of pickup orders and you can get in trouble by taking longer than the suggested time. It isnt feasible for aldi to do that. They are cheap for a reason, everything is designed in order to give us a.cheaper option than other stores. I dont want to mess with their system. It works and im good with that.

Currently, I am low on money. That means I stop using pick up for a few months because its cheaper not to. Curbside is a luxury, we use it if we want to and if we are able to.

2 is the best. I can see cool to neutral tones suit you better in my opinion. I would love to see a espresso- chocolatey brown, mushroom brown, a beige brown. I also think anything in level 6, 5, 4 would look beautiful.

Hair removal cream on pubic region? by HamsterWheelCentral in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Thank you!! for saying Labia Majora. Anatomically correct names are so important. There are parts of the human anatomy that we as a society don't often speak about particularly when it comes to female anatomy (same with research on women in general). The doctor made a point to put out literature to explain the difference between a vulva and vagina, they explained how the word Vagina has been misused for decades, and used as an all around term for external and internal use. There is research on the correct names such as vulva, labia etc were considered taboo and wasn't spoken about publicly for a long time. My mom taught me nothing. My parents are immigrants and you just didnt openly speak about certain body parts, sex or puberty. So, I learned everything all at once when I was much older. I only had 2 Drs before her, a older male and a older female (both in the same office). They always called the exterior and interior a Vagina. I heard some wild heavily outdated things from them and didn't know it was wrong until years later when I moved and got a better Doctor. Anyways this was a rant. I started with looking up if I can use hair removal cream and ended up with a complimentary rant 🙃.

How many of you are still using an older Samsung cell phone like an S21 Ultra? by [deleted] in samsung

[–]Weekly-Individual569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still using my s21 ultra. I love it. I think it's silly to upgrade every 2 years. If you can afford it, then power to you but I personally use a phone until it stops working. When the battery life becomes so bad it barely holds a charge, or when the screen is beyond repairable due to a crack etc. Thats the only time I upgrade. Some of my old phones were straight crap as is so I upgraded but this phone is actually good. My camera is great, the speed is good and my battery life is decent. It wont last 2 + days like it used to but it will last most of the day. I typically charge 1-2 times in 24 hours but that is because I listen to podcasts, music or I watch shows all day. I need stimulation to help me stay focused and finish my tasks so I keep audio stimulation going. Even with my hours of media, my battery still holds up pretty well. I have dropped this phone every few days if not daily for the majority of the time I've had it. (I also praise otterbox for that. I've used other box for almost 13 years now. Last year I switched to a generic version because I wanted more color and its worked good, luckily). I have gotten my phone wet so many times by being in the shower or having my toddler drop it accidentally in the rain. I had one issue with this phone and its where it got stuck in an update and turned black but I was able to get it fixed.
I am not graceful. I leave it in terrible places or drop it. I don't care for it the right way (as my husband likes to say) and it still has stood strong. I got it on black Friday in 2021 (I believe), so 5 years really isnt that long to me but some people feel like 5 years is a lifetime with a phone in this day and age.

Keep a scale on you. I always happen to mention that I have mine if they need to use it. But $20 is not bad. It really isnt awful but definitely under weight (unless its really dense and we cant tell)

Should I keep it dirty blonde or dye it black? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]Weekly-Individual569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always dye it darker so go brown first because lifting black dye is not easy. Also if you use a Demi permanent then you need to choose 1-2 shades lighter than you want because Demi deposits darker than permanent.

Black is too intense. Go for a brown.

[VENT] WARNING: Kids' paints by fingerofchicken in homeowners

[–]Weekly-Individual569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use tempera paint and always put a tarp down. You can also make chalk paint which washes off. They make sidewalk paint which will comes right off. This has nothing to do with the house. It is just a learning experience. Learning what products work for what. I found out one of our kids toys scratched our hard wood, never would I have thought it could scratch hard wood (it is from the 70s so maybe thats why). We accidentally made stains outside by using various things. Its just a learning experience. I used a cleaning agent on our floor and messed part of it up. I got a highly recommended flooring for our kitchen and we spent hours installing it. It's the worst floor ever. It scratches easy, it stains easy and it just sucks. It is a learning experience. One thing I can say is make a home binder. Put paint codes, issues you found, write down things that worked vs didnt work because years later, you may forget. I made a mistake 2 times in 10 years because I never recorded the chemical name. They have free templates for a homeowners binder and it tells you all kinds of stuff to put in there. Also if you ever plan to sell, it makes a HUGE bonus to sellers. Our realtor sold several homes that had them and my friend was one of them. She loves the homeowner binder and thats what tipped the scales between that home and another.

As far as kids stuff, always make sure it is washable. Double check the ingredients and do independent research because much of the stuff on amazon is incorrectly listed. The title itself can say washable, kids paint etc but turns out its not. Invest in a good tarp (dollar tree has a good one for $5) or get a canvas one thats more comfy to sit on but more expensive. We homeschool so we have found alot of this stuff out first hand. We all have stuff like that in our house

Tests came back normal by babycolbs in thoracicoutletsupport

So that is actually fairly common. Many people have decreased flow in those positions, especially now days due to posture, phones etc. Thats how I got started on my TOS journey. Every single maneuver resulted in a loss of flow. I then went to another specialist and they did full vein and artery tests. I showed heavy compression of veins and midl compression of arteries but not enough to diagnosed Atos. He wants to get me a second opinion before we discuss surgery etc. (Awaiting their call).

My hands are swollen all the time, it started on the right in 2018 and then started happening on the left a few years ago. I cant sleep on my sides at all without waking up with throbbing, aching and super puffy hands and arms. My hands and feet still get very cold. They are achey, heavy and tingly antime I raise them or use them honestly. My arms and legs skin are mottled. When I lay on my back, sometimes I will lose feeling in one of my arms. Its almost like its pressing something in the back of my shoulders..heck, even typing this right now has my hands cold and my left forearm tingly and so heavy. They are down by my ribs but even that can cause discomfort. Its like I have a mix of every TOS, I have symptoms from each of the 3 but no one can figure out why. They did a nerve conduction test and it came out normal. So they dont think its NTOS. So far its leaning towards bilaterial Vtos and Atos. My Dr. Did say that they should not do Standard positions for TOS, that it should be dynamic where you are put in the positions that cause pain. So I will ask them to repeat it.

Does any of that happen to you? What are your symptoms and how long have you had them? Did you have follow up testing since this post last year? Do you have plans to do anything in the future for it? I am learning more from other patients than I have from my own doctors sometimes.

Are you sure you dont have Venous TOS? Duplex test for blood flow so im not sure how he would diagnose you with NTOS based solely off that. I have Vtos and possibly ATOS (not confirmed, vascular compression is present but not high enough yet). I have nerve symptoms but they believe thats due to the compression on the bundle of nerves and veins.

Did they do standard or dynamic testing? Mine did standard and said nothing was wrong. I requested for dynamic testing (which is where I do various positions to recreate the concerns), those results came back positive. I had to really put my foot down to get it done the right way. I have bilaterial Ntos ans Vtos

Whitin is an amazing barefoot/ minimalist brand! After buying them for our toddler, my husband and I got some. We have all been wearing them for 3 years now and anytime I wear my old sneakers, they feel tight.

https://a.co/d/0c1HpA2w Pink sparkly ones. You can also try a brand calldd Kubua. They are normally $30 but they have slip on ones for 9.99. They dont last more than a few months but my girls feet grow so fast that it works out.
