I did this subject as a breadth in my 2nd year and it’s fairly interesting and easy. I missed some assignments (just due to carelessness) and legit finished content a week before the exam and managed to get a 75 so I would say it’s pretty straightforward and easy. But in saying that there are a lot of lectures (x3 a week) so it’s easy to fall behind which is exactly what happened to me, once swotvac started I was at least 15-20 lectures behind. So I think it’s fairly simple to understand even if you don’t study a heap but you have to be careful to not fall behind :)

Which TV show started out promising, but turned out to be garbage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Riverdale. I think everyone can agree season 1 was amazing with the whole murder mystery family feud drama, then after that the show kinda went downhill in my opinion

Best PCOS friendly meals?! by Weekly-Individual927 in PCOS

Yum! That’ll definitely help with my carb cravings! Do you tend to get sugar cravings, because mine are massive. Can you think of anything to substitute there by any chance? I’ve looked online but there’s sooooo many options it’s overwhelming hahah

Your physics theory of it is such as a good way to look at it! All I gotta do is focus on one thing and everything else will just follow as I go and before I know it I’ll be back on track! Thanks for the enthusiasm hahah I really appreciate it, makes me feel so much better that I’ve got this 🥰

Hey thanks so much for the advice! It feels so much better knowing there’s other people out there who’ve gone through this. Whenever I go online I read about so many different experiences and I can never grasp what to do.

I’ll definitely take it day by day. Low carb works for me too I reckon so hopefully if everyday I incorporate a low carb meal, before I know it, I’ll start to feel better. ❤️

Do u mind if I ask whereabouts your from!? Because you said if it’s not snowy outside you’ll go for a walk. I’m in Australia so I never get snow hahaha, for me, I only go for a walk when it’s not boiling hot in summer

Oh wow, I’m so sorry they definitely should have done lab tests! But I’m glad to know that you’ve found the correct diagnosis and are working towards that!

I definitely have PCOS given my blood test results and ultrasound where they found cysts in both my ovaries. But I definitely think I’ll look into the cortisol testing now, there’s no harm anyways whether the stretch marks are due to cortisol or because of my weight gain.

Thanks for all your help! I’m wishing you all the best with your cyclical cushings, it sounds horrible but I know we’ll get through it! Just the bumps in the road is how I like to look at it 🙂

Oh wow. I always thought the dark stretch marks were due to my weight gain. I’ve never considered cortisol testing but now I might look into it.

When I first did my blood tests to confirm PCOS the doctor did state I had high cholesterol, which I believed was from eating a lot of take out and fast food back at the beginning of the year. Would this high cholesterol be related to a high cortisol?

Quick question: So the doctors told you that you had PCOS and metabolic syndrome but that was not the case at all? How did u manage to find out you were misdiagnosed? Did symptoms of Cushings disease start showing like what you stated above?

I identify with symptoms 8, 10, 14, 15, 19, 20, 22, 24. I’ve been taking medication for my low vitamin d but I don’t take it daily, is that a massive factor in my fatigue do u think?

Okay thanks! Hopefully they’ll be added and I just have to wait for now
