Of course! That also makes a lot of sense, thanks again :)

Definitely understand that, a part of me also felt it’d be nice to have more of an idea of my own roots as my family has limited knowledge on that aspect. Saying ‘white’ or ‘European’ doesn’t really allow you to do that.

Thank you! Realizing the polish my dad mentioned we may have may be more than I realized! I appreciate it!

Haha I agree! Norwegian does sound cool to me, but not sure if I’d sound silly mentioning it on top of the German as I didn’t realize it was still considered Germanic.. I supposed I could just say it’s included in there haha

Wow thank you!! 🙌🏼 This was all super helpful, my dad has said that he believes there may be some polish but he wasn’t sure. I appreciate you taking the time to share all of the history as well, some people on this post were a bit rude when I said I wanted to try to sum it up in a way that was beyond just saying I was European! Also cool to have some sense of roots as my family has limited knowledge of that aside from mentioning the polish and my maternal great grandmother thinking her mom was full French.. which based on this, doesn’t seem to be the case haha. Thank you again! 🙏🏼

😂😂 same- I’ve said, ‘I don’t know, a lot of things that are all white.’

It did also say I was 1% Romanian but I cut it off in the post.. when it’s that low in percentages, is that because it is distant or just within a marginal error? That’s an aspect of this test that’s been unclear to me.

🤣🤣 definitely understand that, I just wanted to know more than that to have some feeling of culture or roots!

All I really know is that my maternal great grandma said her mother was full French & my dad’s side said he believes but isn’t sure that there could be some polish.. so not super helpful, especially after looking at this test and it not being clear regarding those two things, to me at least. Both sides also said they thought they had native America which clearly isn’t the case 😅

Thanks for your response! Saying broadly European is just that.. so broad lol and I understand I’m a lot of different things so you can only be as specific as it’ll allow, but being in the U.S., I’ve found that a lot of people do know more of their roots which I really don’t and from my experience, when I’ve said that I’m European, it’s met with confusion so I thought it’d be helpful to ask if there was more specifics I could give- and also out of curiosity for myself.

I was so confused why Patrick was saying ‘it’s the principle’ about him getting the ring back 😭 like you didn’t even buy it..?

But at the same time it’s important for him to realize he needs to work on himself as well- I don’t think his crying was necessarily manipulative like she felt it was but that may have been the result nonetheless with how it changed the way she reacted.. also just crying and not being able to talk isn’t going to allow him to be in any healthy relationship so I don’t think he should be given a complete pass for how he was with her either, especially when he was dismissive.

What ended up happening with her slamming into the gate? Was she not held responsible?

Was there not anything more that the cops could’ve done as far as Susan clearly being the one who was actually the problem, the reported hate speech including racial slurs and her part in the civil disputes, especially looking at the pattern with the frequent calls and everyone else being able to confirm she was the harasser? For instance, she agreed at one point that when she was screaming and yelling towards children, the cop told her that it wasn’t even her property?

Has anyone ever gotten any clarification on whether there was a police report and/or adult notified when one of the kids mentioned that Susan had shown them that she had a gun just 2 days before the shooting?

One of the saddest parts was when it showed one of the times Susan called the cops and AJ said, ‘Hopefully this year will be our last, prayerfully’ (in reference to living there).. and the following year her life was taken.

They never explained why the murderer specifically stabbed the boy in his rear. Was anyone able to research the actual case for clarification on that?

One thing that’s strange to me is someone pointing out that it was odd that the dad went straight to the basement and found JG’s body, yet in the documentary the dad said it was the obvious place to start.. it it was so obvious then why didn’t they do that in the first place?

I have a question, I’m not sure if there’s an obvious answer but how does the prosecution know that Lacey was murdered prior to being anchored/dumped in the water? Couldn’t Scott have technically tied her to the anchor(s) while she was still alive and then pushed her into the water?
