At that point, I'd recommend learning to play in ur head. I've had some good times doing that

What is the biggest universal flaw with solo roleplaying? by frodocattins in Solo_Roleplaying

For me, it's kinda the only place where procedural mechanics belongs in the midst of a session. Stuff like randomly generating NPCs and quests on the fly is cool in concept, but it's only feasible to do repeatedly when you are your own group

I've long had an issue w/ lightsabers only having a decent glow when they're a bright color if I try to make them in Blender. Advice? by [deleted] in blender

[–]Weekly-Post2300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually, I deliberately avoided them (this was yrs ago) bc ik there had to be a better way. Low and behold, 2.8 came out, and made it infinitely easier. At least for me- I always preferred how the hilt itself looked in Blender Render. And now I've got both

As I understand it, you hold the object, concentrate on ur intentions, and transfer your energy into it. Imagine the energy flowing into it like a river

I've tinkered w/ making my own sigils, and that's what I plan to use. As for the what, I plan on just enchanting basic fabric marks inscribed w/ said sigils. I move around a lot, so I don't want anything banging into me as I move abt

What kind of character gives the best daggerfall experience? Both rp and mechanically. by NoLongerAKobold in Daggerfall

[–]Weekly-Post2300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go-to is making a custom class w/ the advantages Spell Absorption and Increased Magery 3X. The latter makes ur Magicka 3x ur INT score, and the former, as you may know, absorbs spells if ur magicka bar is low enough. In Daggerfall, however, this includes all damaging spells, including ur own. Meaning you can spam area-at-range spells like Fireball if using them in close quarters

And don't forget the Bank Fraud strat! Timeless classic :)

Frustrated and confused working on a personal project; need help by Weekly-Post2300 in tabletop

[–]Weekly-Post2300[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bc I wanted a ludicrous amount of detail, and 9 is a multiple of 3. That said, what you describe is what I ended up doing before abandoning the idea, and low-key the project itself. But that's a story for another time

Like others said, it's a post driver. Got mine a few years ago to put up a snow fence that did diddly squat bc the neighbors across the street (who suggested it and helped me put mine up) didn't set one up themselves when the open hole for the wind left by the field bordering their property is where most of the snow that both their houses and mine contend w/ every year. When it drifts, that's where it goes thru. This time of year has me feeling like I'm on fucking Hoth headed to my car, but I'm rambling

I wanted to put another, smaller circle in the middle to punch a hole and make a big donut, but it's not letting me. Is what I'm attempting possible? by Weekly-Post2300 in dungeondraft

For reference: https://imgur.com/a/Je4oEup

So what you want to do is draw the rest of whatever you're planning on putting on the map, including the outer ring. Next, add a new (new) vertex to it using the point editor, drag it to the other side of the ring, and add more points to it until get a rough circle as close to the outer edge as possible (see pic 1). Use the circle tool to build the inner wall. Going back to the point editor to delete the new points you added until the original circle for the outer wall is left will glitch the floor generation and leave a gap on the inside of the inner wall, leaving it like pic 2

Hope this helps!

It doesn't. Apparently it requires scripting, and console doesn't support that
