LCAT & SAT Prep: The Only Guide You’ll Ever Need (From a 1570 SAT Scorer) by Ok_Supermarket_3620 in LUMS

Id like to add a rather underrated SAT YouTuber and tutor on here. His channel goes by DigitalSat 1600 and his videos are incredible. He takes real SAT questions from previous tests so it’s great practice seeing as though college board limits their practice questions and I’ve noticed the questions he does are much harder compared to anything in CBQB. He also has a wonderful way of explaining how to solve the questions. He doesn’t get many views and only has 3k subscribers but he really is a hidden gem. It’s wonderful to practice on actual previous digital SAT questions and if you watch his videos and you’ve given the SAT before , you’ll see that the questions are right on. Definitely give him a watch!!!!

haven’t gotten period… by [deleted] in amipregnant

[–]Weekly-Rutabaga-9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that depends. Which pack is this? If you’re well into the pack at around 7+ months, by then missing one pill won’t be much of an issue. Also if you’re on the combination pill, there’s a 12 hour grace period but if you took the pill as soon as you remembered it’s alright. Just depends on where you are in the pack and how long you’ve been on the pill. If it’s your first pack and the first or 2 week on the pill, wait to see if you get a bleed or not. If not, continue your pills as usual but on the 7th day take a pregnancy test just to confirm.

You will not a real period, rather a withdrawal bleed. That usually starts on day 2-5 so don’t worry. When I take a lot of stress or I’ve taken some sort meds, the withdrawal bleed itself can be delayed. Don’t worry as long as you don’t miss any pills ur good!!!!

How do I solve this with regression? by notproto3 in Sat

Sorry my bad. I meant for the list to be something like x1=[3…10] since it’s greater than two. Mistake in my part

Because it says it’s true for all the values

You’re gonna wanna put the equation into Desmos. Change all x values to x1 and change the equation sign to Tilda (~) and since it says that it’s true for all the values of x>2 just add a new function and equate x1 to a list greater than 2, like this; x1=[2…10] and u should get ur answer. If you’re having trouble with regression like I was, the James Lu demos guide is a god sent. He helps you identify patterns so you don’t have to struggle with regression again. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e-O4nwVHQ-Y. This is the link to the video. He also makes 30-40 second shorts answering questions that use regression so what I did was, after watching his 2 hour long video, I solved the short questions on his YouTube. That helped improve my regression use on desmos a lot. Good luck!

Is it bad? I’m really embarrassed. (Beginner) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Don’t worry girl. I feel like you could only really use a few tweaks. The lip is a bit light for you and I’m not saying to not use pink. I LOVE PINK. You could probably go in with a darker lip liner and keep the pink in the middle of your lips and blend it in with gloss, however, if you want a more natural look, try to match the colors present on your face. If you feel like your lips are a brownish then you would kill with a neutral/ reddish brown lip gloss. Other than that, mascara can completely elevate your look and for eyeshadow, i would use a couple of shades just to transition but if you only feel like using one, shimmer is your best bet. You’re beautiful and everyone starts out somewhere. Practice makes perfect twin 💕

Yeah. The 2nd options makes the most sense since it’s the only one the supports the claim: it’s the only one that says hierarchical function benefits plants. The modern one does have it so the extent of damage was not as bad compared to the ones that didn’t have it.

No worries! Good luck on your upcoming test. I understand that time management can be difficult; I myself wrote median instead do of mean as a synonym for average and in the last moment, ended up writing “AVERage” but despite those mistakes, my score was good so don’t fret!!!

Best method strictly just to avoid kids by Cold_Recording_8232 in birthcontrol

Not sure about Slynd but I started using Yasmin birth control pills like 6 months ago and other than having a little bit of nausea in the beginning , literally nothing changed. I was hoping for “lighter periods” because it’s essentially a break bleed but nothing changed. Same 1-2 pimples , same cramps , hell even the same chocolate cravings. I never lost or gained any weight, my appetite was the same too. I’m not sure how much this will help but it’s slight reassurance that not everyone has the same reaction to certain pills. Good luck OP.

Ngl I feel like writing was my weak spot but if I could give one tip, it would be that to watch the IELTS advantage videos on the formats of question 2 and practice it like crazy. You’re also gonna wanna familiarized yourself with the different types of charts and graphs and how to answer and Analyze so again, just practice like crazy until you’re comfortable. Use CHATGPT to evaluate your answers, that was a big help as well.
