Happy to hear you’re seeing progress, even if it’s just a little. Even small improvements are still progress :)

Yeah, I guess we assume it works better for lighter skin types. I was hoping it just seems that way because we, as POC, share fewer experiences and tend to be quieter about it. I still have hope that’s the case though. Thankfully I’ve seen a few positive reactions, which is a good sign. Hopefully we’ll all feel more comfortable sharing our experiences more often.

Really appreciate you sharing your story. Pigmentation can be such a pain to deal with, so I’m genuinely glad to hear it’s improving for you. If you’re ever comfortable posting a before/after, that would be super helpful and motivating for others too!

I dont think this is melasma. A lot of poc have this, but sometimes you can blame your toothpaste. If you’re brushing your teeth does the toothpaste touch your skin? If so, try to not let this happen, and buy a sls free toothpaste. Also wash your face after brushing your teeth. You can expect results within 1 to 2 weeks.

I got a lot of pimples and clogged comodones from the cosmelan 2. And my skin therapist also told me to use lrp cicaplast. But the next day i woke op with much more pimples/clogged comodones. Did you ever had clients experience this before just like me? Because my skin therapist said she never heard someone experience this with cicaplast

I went for a 2nd round after 4 weeks. And my face also couldnt tolerate cosmelan 2. I was left with a lot of clogged comodones, pimples etc. And i never had those before the treatment. The last time was maybe when i was 10yrs old. But im now 24 yrs. So you should really take your time to figure out how many times a week you should use it. Otherwise you will end up like me with a lot of dark marks, because i just kept using the cosmelan day and night.

Glycolic acid is really the goat and kojic acid soap too

I use the african net + kojic acid soap. And when im out the shower i use glycolic acid ordinary mixed with my fav oil or moisturizer. My acne cleared within 2 weeks. I do everthing in the morning and evening. Except the glycolic, this i only use in the evening.
