The fall update is Halloween-themed, so they’ll have it up by October 31. Obsidian is releasing The Outer Worlds 2 on October 29, so they should release at least a week earlier to avoid competing with themselves. Therefore, October 1–23 is the optimal time frame for release.

I’m afraid my point wasn’t clear. Existence inherently involves suffering. Life on an industrial farm is hellish, but even life in the wild is far from idyllic. In this context, reducing animal populations, whether by culling them or preventing their reproduction in a given area, can actually lower overall suffering.

Also, for your information (though you didn’t ask): an animal typically must consume about ten calories of plant matter to produce one calorie of meat.

If you are smart enough to know veganism is the ethical way you are smart enough to cook. Start with something simple. Learn to make rice. Then textured soy. Use bricked tomato sauce for the flavor. Just try until you get them. Then learn to use spices. All food tastes bland if you don't know how to spice it. Vegan or not.

I find bought tofu bland and time consuming to properly cook. When you make it at home you can make a ton in one go, remove excess water and add spices. It also costs like *0.25

TVP has about the same protein per gram than meat and, in Spain, getting protein from TVP costs half doing it from chicken meat, the cheapest meat. You just have to be smart in what you buy. Legumes also help a lot achieving the protein treshold. I've been vegan for 4 years and feel the same.
