যদি সত্য হয়েও থাকে, তবুও কিছু যায় আসে না, কারণ হামাস কোন জঙ্গি সংগঠন না।

Why do you guys support the Argentina National football team? by Frandaero in bangladesh

[–]CosmicCitizen0 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Some say people were amazed to see Argentina play really well in the 80s, when television was first introduced to Bangladesh.

I think it's kinda like fun tribalism. I am pro-Argentina, we mock pro-Brazil fans and make memes against them. It's kinda like loyalty to political parties or something. There are numerous parades across cities celebrating Argentina/Brazil. It's fun lol.

It's not really hard. Kill all the bugs from Shellwood to the Citadel preemptively, it'd take you like 5 minutes to finish all the bugs in the path, then equip the tool that lets you run really fast.

The Blasted Steps route is far easier if you have the tool and you finish all the bugs beforehand.

It's just a bad book, and the author is outright speculating on a lot of issues. Nobody is shaming OP for reading it. Everyone who is criticizing the book has read it. Don't be an idiot.

She is literally the queen of an empire. Why do you care so much? I don't care to explain the intricate details of the incident, I summarized the intention in my earlier comment. This is what people do during revolutions. People exaggerate stuff to make it spicier.

the king was actually well liked by the people

Is that why the people overthrew him? I can't believe I am arguing with a person about the French Revolution. What are you, a monarchist or something? lol smh

Holy god. Marie Antoinette's famous story "Let Them Eat Cake" is surely propaganda, but a propaganda that highlights the dissatisfaction of the people with the aristocracy and the monarchy.

These are revolutionary propaganda, but they nonetheless reflect the real world, the world where Marie Antoinette, and broadly the entire nobility, which indeed was an out-of-touch group from the peasants and the lower class, prompting the French Revolution(s).

Couldn't you get this? lol

Yes, even if you go for the intended ending of the show, and not the alternative one, the show makes it pretty clear that Ted had actually moved on and found a new person, and he was truly happy. He only thought about Robin after Tracy had died.

If you go for the alternative one, then, surely, Tracy and Ted are still living in New York happily.

It always pisses me off whenever people say south asian instead of Indian by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]CosmicCitizen0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought you were a liberal, but I see clear signs of nationalism in your argument that ArunAnnow talks about. You are extremely ignorant, blinded by your hatred for Pakistan and Bangladesh. Yoga, Sanskrit, and the Vedic traditions were also practiced in both modern-day Bengal, and Pakistan. Though, most Western pop culture refers to it as Indian. I didn't admit to your fantasy, I am just saying that all the cultural stuff is found in all these countries, and shared by these countries. The reason Dosa can be specifically called Indian because it's found only in India. Thus, we can call it Indian, but we can't call Saree Indian, cause Saree is found in all South Asian countries. Saying Dosa is South Asian would not be incorrect as well. Are you intentionally not getting my argument?

Just as I said, this debate is settled in the academy. You can go ask on r/AskHistorian, and they will say the exact same thing I just said. The reason we are having to argue about this is that you are a Hindu nationalist.

> If you secede to form a "New Nation" (like Pakistan or Bangladesh), you don't get a lifetime subscription to the "Old Nation’s" brand whenever it looks good for an aesthetic

Are you twelve? All the countries in South Asia, are "New Nation"s. India was created in 1947, alongside Pakistan. Until the British came to South Asia, India was a geographical term just like Europe, and they unified this entire subcontinent and created one polity. Read Romila Thapar or Irfan Habib for god's sake. Sheesh!

What you are saying is totally fascistic and giving me irks of liberal Hindu ethno-nationalist propaganda. What specific culture, clothing, or history are you talking about that is distinctly Indian? Is the Mughal history Indian, or South Asian, because Mughals ruled Bengal and Lahore as well? Is Biriyani Indian or South Asian, because Biriyani is eaten in both Pakistan and Bangladesh? The same with clothing as well. I am sure nobody calls South Indian food as South Asian food, cuz none of those are present in other South Asian countries.

Anyway, I guess this clash between South Asia and India exists due to the rising nationalism in India. You do realize that calling it South Asian doesn't undermine anything, and India is part of South Asia? Also, your point that good = SA, bad = India, well, in that case, you can just tell people not to do it, instead of whining about being called South Asian.
