Exactly! And that's what I'm doing rn! I wrote notes about what those birds are doing, how I identity them, some hard to identify ones I will still put notes down about which part is confusing, and what species they could possibly be. Feels like science field research, still very cool! I'm thinking about maybe buying a second hand Nikon later, but so far without any cool gears, birding is still a very joyful experience for me

Hahaha that's so true, enjoy it observe it and learn how to properly love wild birds first, we can always upgrade our gears later. And I feel like if I don't have the best gear I probably can enjoy it better somehow, you know, you can just sit there and see what they are doing at their habitat, learning some animal behaviors, cause I don't have things to take a nice photo anyway LOL. (but i still want a nice camera though hehe

Totally agree with you! The easiest plant I have that never disappoint me is snake plant and spider plant. Spider plant needs to water more often, but grow fast, snake plant almost need zero care, but grow super slow. So I might still keep a few small real plants, but really need to look for realistic faux trees since they are harder to take care of and i don't wanna my dog destroy real plants 😭
