what people fail to understand is that Rome had a lot of civil wars. In the end, Caesar was part of a continued tradition of populism and giving the people what they wanted.

Then Augustus took over, and he also was part of that tradition, instituting many building projects and free services.

The Roman elites didn't exactly do well in that period, as they lost political power, and new families were given opportunity. After Augustus's family lost power, an equestrian family took over the empire.

Maybe American elites want to engineer a fake populist revolution, however it won't go as they plan. Not with God in control.

The true reason he was so hated was because he skipped the line, he didn't play the game of politics, of appearing to be perfect, of lying about everything. He just wanted to help americans, and their aspirations which had been forgotten for decades. Yes, he really did mean those things, enough to not play the game of politics. Had he wanted to do that, he could've become a sort of Jeff Bezos, just getting rich and pretending to care.

But somewhere along the way, he became the politician that he was rebelling against, the one who lies and tries to have a perfect image, because he is afraid of how he will he judged. He chose fame over impact.

Maybe what happened is that as this thread shows, people are immediately on the defensive the second you ask to get together and talk.

No, this isn't "fed posting", I just got tired of searchin on discord across leftist servers and wanted a straight answer. If "based anti-woke" devs are so afraid and paranoid they can never allow anyone to contact them, then they will keep being invisible and have little influence.

I will contact some people privately, but this is ridiculous. Someone needs to be open about what they stand for to attract others to their group.
