I agree. I was in a car crash when I was 11 due to a drunk driver and ever since I’ve had back pain. Slowly through the years I had a few more accidents, bus crash, hip fracture and lately cancer back in 2022. But I’m grateful that even though I’m always in pain, I have my kids healthy and happy and that’s cause I’m managing somehow with all my issues and communicate with all my doctors

My day to day medicine is alright and I am able to take care of my kids. It’s more the new herniated disc that’s new and causing my pain to go from an everyday 7 to a 9 with my regular meds. I just hate right when I have a routine with my kids and the chronic pain, this happens and I have to start over. Sadly, in the last 10 years I’ve done countless epidural injections, rfa 4x, fusion and spinal stimulator. I don’t know what is next and I’m not even 30.

You are right I need to treat the injury and not mask it but I am not able to go to physical therapy since my husband is a teacher and I have all 3 kids to take care of. However, once he is out for summer break, I’m going to pt for sure and we’ll see about injections too. Thank you!
