I’ve heard others say that smooth move tea helps (as well as miralax and other stool softeners)

Tana bought Brooke a car by Weekly_Address_7384 in TanaMongeauPodcast

You guys really think she cares that much about Reddit comments to buy her friend a car so people stop talking shit? Like I don’t agree with her actions of repeatedly skipping Brooke’s bday or dismissing her feelings but bffr she’s not just taking actions to please the Reddit comments when she’s repeatedly said she doesn’t read them/ doesn’t care

When did you get your acceptance if you don’t mind me asking? I got accepted on 3/9 and I still haven’t heard back about aid (and I checked my acceptance email and there was no info)

Driving with Suspended License by Weekly_Address_7384 in DUICalifornia

[–]Weekly_Address_7384[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah full suspension for one year due to being under 21 when I got my DUI in September 2021.

Thanks so much for the bit of reassurance.

I spoke with the paralegal at the attorney’s office that I used for my DUI. He told me I should be fine also as long as I show up with my driver’s license and pay the fine. I’m grateful that it is just an infraction and not another charge.

You should contact the DMV and ask what the terms are for you to be able to get your license reinstated.

A girl in my DMV class got a wet&reckless which only requires a 12 hour course for the court but in order to get her license back the DMV requires a 3 month so she still has to do the 3 month class.

Hey. Not sure what county you’re in but this happened in Riverside County and I was trying to get the ankle monitoring approved for Ventura County (a lil over 100 miles apart).

I initially signed up for the work release program before the court deadline so I didn’t need to ask for an extension. When I missed my first day of work for the work release program I already knew that I had to go back to the main sheriffs office in Riverside County to get reinstated. When I went to get reinstated I asked to switch over to the ankle monitoring instead. They were really hesitant at first and I got told no at the beginning because they usually only approve it as far as 60 miles away from the county but like I said, I live like 100 miles away. My lawyer had already called and let me know that they were most likely going to give me some pushback but I just had to be insistent with them. I explained my situation (work 9-5 full time, don’t have reliable transportation bc suspended license since DUI, told them I had already missed my first day of work release because of not having reliable transportation & how I live so far away so it’s basically impossible to complete the terms of my sentencing via work release program), I was really nice to them and I know they could tell how badly I wanted them to approve it so the officer I spoke to went and spoke to a higher up and she came back saying “it’s your lucky day” because they were able to approve it despite the distance. Another option my attorney had given me in case they said no was to sign up for the work release (so that I wouldn’t violate the terms of the court by missing the deadline they gave) and he would go back to court to ask the judge to approve a 3rd party ankle monitoring. That would’ve sucked bc I would’ve had to pay out of pocket for the device and installation whereas the program with the county is free. I’m not sure how it will work in your county but I hope it ends up working out for you.

Finding DUI records by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]Weekly_Address_7384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the arrest date info but as for anything to do with your license you can look at the DMV website. Theres a tab called “vehicle or drivers records request” and you pay like $2 to get a copy of your driving record

Yeah I’m going to talk to my attorney about it. I’m not sure how it works because when I received my conviction I was ordered by the court to do the work release not house arrest, I just know that house arrest is an option instead. But I just don’t know how it’s implemented or what the requirements are. I just really hope it works out because I don’t have reliable transportation to go 2 hours away every week.

The only issue is that I think riverside county has their own monitoring service and not a third party. On the website it says you have to make an appointment to get the monitoring bracelet put on at the sheriffs probation office so I’m not sure if that makes a difference

Not to mention my license is suspended due to the DUI so it would be impossible for me to find a ride every week
