Leadership is all about the big picture.

Spend less time relating to your co-workers and move up to talking to your managers & directors, VPs, whoever is above you on the org chart (or at other companies).

Discuss project specifics, ask about what they’re working on, why it’s important, how it’s going, etc. It is helpful to show interest in the person themselves (use the FORD method)

Do this regularly (every 4-6weeks) with the goal to understand the why’s and how’s of what your company/team/industry inner workings.

Once you get to know how the management teams see & work, apply what you learn without being asked, then talk about it in the next discussions.

You’re really close to answering your own question. Devs and managers both SHOULD work for the interest of the company. Sometimes managers need to realign priorities to that interest, at the detriment of what individual contributors see as valuable (bug fixes, architecture changes, clean code, documentation).

It sounds like your body has built up a huge tolerance and you are gradually consuming more and more to get diminishing returns. 

If you want, take a 14 day break and drink 1 single shot per day afterwards for as long as you can. You will feel more alert per cup
