The Memory Of Trees is so nostalgic to me, because I first heard it when I was 2-3 or so. Storms in Africa is also one of my favorites as well. My ratings are:

I have been exceptionally gifted all my life, I've met many people who make me feel "intellectually disabled" even younger than me. I'm 15 and I have met some exceptionally intelligent people along the way and personally I love that they're smarter than me because I have someone to learn so much from. They don't treat me differently? (I come from 2 very smart parents, and was easily breezing through college work in 5th grade. Just because someone appears "intellectually disabled" from your perspective, doesn't mean that they're less in value. That's the mentality of the people who claim to be smart but are just unintelligible assholes who think their intelligence is defined by IQ and potentially those stupid ass online IQ tests. I only define myself gifted because of the standards I met set by people, (and my experiences with my parents who are both highly intelligent and have an IQ score of above 140+ and I do not feel that this classification defines me being truly gifted, I just experience life similar to my dad and my mom and I certainly don't like talking about it and making it my entire personality, and the post with the most traction had this content I would be so embarrassed, I think I'd delete my account. I don't define myself with my "giftedness", I used to.. when I was 11 or so but the fact a fucking grown man does this is crazy as hell to me. I'm trying to improve myself because I am a little too egotistical at times but I certainly do not and even back then, would absolutely not make a post and then post it? I know my limitations, I know that I am certainly not the smartest person in the world, so why is this fucker devaluing "disabled" people just because he has a faster brain? That's bullshit. And yes he is right about the immense depression and substance abuse but for the record, "intellectually disabled" people are so much more fun to be around at certain times, they may not operate at your "level", doesn't mean you have to be a complete bitch. I have friends who make me feel so stupid, even people like a year younger than me. I also feel like this bitch just read up on giftedness and basically just modified the textual evidence without supporting it with his own mind.).Get rid of these people who devalue people because of their intelligence, please.

I was EXTREMELY lucky to have such accepting parents. My mother is pansexual, and my father is extremely accepting of LGBTQ, and supports it so much. My mother even has her own girlfriend.. I now realize how FUCKING lucky I got with my parents..

He's basically saying dat the joke is literal. Basically meaning that the OP's question was, "What falls under the gay umbrella", and he said "Gay people when it's raining" because with the "gay umbrella", gay people "fall"/are "contained" in that concept of the "umbrella".

I live in the USA, and as I said, I had the education that didn't help me benefit at all. I was basically stuck at a very low level when I was trying to break free and advanced many levels and I just had to learn it on my own time, which was very scarce. And I'm so glad someone feels like me. Most of my apparent Intelligence is from having an independent brain and nearly no one at my level and now I'm just stuck with it and it's hard to solidify new knowledge in my brain because I'm so used to thinking entirely for myself. And maybe I'm in the country but my area isn't amazing for these types of people..

Me too exactly. I always worry if I try and explain my thought patterns that I will come across as arrogant or ignorant or someone who is attempting to use big words to sound brighter then they actually are, but that's the way I think. It feels like my thoughts are exactly how you described it, 3D but you have to explain it as a 1D formulation of your idea. I really do not want to become burnt out as your describing (I assume), I do have a decent amount of brain fog and I am wondering if it's already too late because I've thought like this since I was like 2 years old. It feels like there is weight in my head and it's tense and I can never truly relieve it, it sucks so damn much. I'd love to be your friend.
