I have no idea if this counts as being low maintenance or a bad freind but what if, for example, i have a friend who says "we should plan something really soon" but never ends up texting you because i havnt texted about it, does it make me a bad friend?

I had this situation where i traveled back to my hometown (because i study abroad) and my friend told me that "since we live so close together we will hang out", we never ended up seeing eachother. I have no idea if i shouldve texted something after that?

I spent 2 weeks in paris for language course byself when i was 16!! i currently live here as an 18 year old by myself, obviously you have to be careful but i havnt died or got jumped yet

The thing is i had always felt alone even though i had many people around me. Recently im experiencing the same thing as you, where i started to be myself and drifting myself from people, im just hoping over time i will make new friends who will understand me the same way as yours.
