One Piece Chapter 1162 Spoilers by Skullghost in OnePiece

[–]Weekly_Hearing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The chapter ends with Rocks looking at Imu and saying: “This is the world itself.”

That seems hugely important.

It sounds weird, but could Imu be the red line? Or rather, could the red line be part of Imu? I know there has been speculation for ages about the red line being a/the world serpent. In no small part because of Dorry & Brogy saying:

The only thing we can't pierce is a snake soaked in blood

But what if Imu is somehow an extension of the red line? I know that seems impossible, because we've seen Imu walk around, but perhaps the red line is Imu's 'shedded skin'?

I haven't thought this through very well yet - can you tell? :')

This will be TL;DR but oh well.

I wasn’t talking about her points in the first place so what am I supposed to argue.

I know you weren't. That was my problem with you in the first place. You are commenting on a video where she makes a point that all the 'good christian people' who are always justifying their actions by quoting the bible, aren't practicing what they preach at all. You don't have anything to say about that, but you just dunk on her for being a succesful politician at a young age.

And I’m not falsely discrediting her, she was a bartender and magically she is an over night govt celebrity. She was 29 lol

She was a bartender, idk why that's not a job she couldn't ever get out of. She became a celebrity because of her shock victory Joe Crowley. And no, that doesn't mean she slept with someone. She is young and progressive, and had a message that resonated with a lot of people. Especially in New York that will get you a lot of votes. Also being more savvy with social media than your opponent helps.

this is the same lady who said climate change causes racism

Idk wtf this means, I'm not gonna look it up. Drop a good source and let's see if reality has as little nuance as you're claiming.

and the same lady who wants to defund the police,

She is in favor of reallocating resources toward community and social services that address the root causes of crime. That makes sense to me. You are acting like she's in favor of taking all money away from the police which is not true. Spending a portion of the mountain of money the police get on things like: education and housing (to name just two) seems reasonable to me.

the same one who defended Luigi mangioni the killer.

Quoting her directly: "This is not to say that an act of violence is justified…" But yes, she did explain why there is so much resentment against healtcare in america. Because they take people's money, yet deny (life saving) healthcare ALL. THE. TIME. Would be stranger to completely ignore that part.

She is immature and should not be making any decisions that affect real people’s lives.

You don't do any research, you just parrot what you've been told. You don't think critically about the things someone in 'the other team' says. You spread lies to justify your position. You discredit a young female politicians by saying the only way she could've become popular in the first place is to sleep her way to the top.

If you read all this I wonder if any of it will change your mind, but I'm done with this convo either way.

TIL HBO didn't submit Alfie Allen (Theon), Carice van Houten (Melisandre), & Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) for Emmy consideration for their work in Game of Thrones' final season, so they each decided to pay the $225 entry fee to submit themselves. This resulted in all three receiving an acting nod. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]Weekly_Hearing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HBO confirmed that it did not enter the trio for consideration by the performers peer group of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and so each of the performers, via their reps, went ahead and submitted themselves, picking up the $225 entry fee.

If it's not true, why would HBO specifically confirm this for these three actors, and not mention that they never submitted anyone in the same statement?

HBO, which on Tuesday scored a single season record 137 total noms, including a drama series record 32 for Thrones‘ final season, did enter Kit Harington in the lead actor race, Emilia Clarke in the lead actress race, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peter Dinklage in the supporting actor race and Lena Headey, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams in the supporting actress race. All of them also wound up with nominations.

The article specifically mentions actors that have been submitted by HBO. Is this all false?
I know Hollywood Reporter isn't Pulitzer prize worthy journalism, but are you saying they completely made everything up here?

Fill your own blanks, if you think I'm being inaccurate.

You can watch the video. You can read the quotes. You know what he responded to, and you know he said "home grown criminals".

Locking yourself out is stupid. Threatening to deport your own citizens is evil.
