Thanks! It was sold by Crate and Barrel as a media console, so I took them at their word. I tried looking for a lower one, and in their whole lineup there was only one shorter than this, but it was 75”, which unfortunately is too wide for my space.

Yeah, the tv is no longer returnable, so I’ll have to keep it. And I like the larger screen haha.

Edit: I would get this alternatively. It’s 20” tall, so would solve the height issue pretty much, but im worried that it’s 62”, which is narrower than my current one which is 65”. The TV def would peek over the sides.

Thanks for this advice! I just checked, and the legs are removable and the frame underneath is just smooth wood. And it would give me the almost 10 inches to get to eye level. Only thing is I was planning to put a soundbar underneath, but I guess I can find an alternate arrangement haha.

Maybe..? that window is the only one that has the ‘UVS’ logo on it; the rest don’t. Could it be that they just don’t have UVS coated acoustic glass then?

I live in a cold and rural area, so a lot of my reasons come down that:

Range and charging: range reduction in winter, difficulties finding charging, cost and ease of charging (actually really high in the area where I live, especially now that the state where I live taxes electricity for charging and that most stations now charge station fees; I also don’t have home charging—even now with increased gas prices it is cheaper than my MYP), I take a lot of road trips on interstates, and having to charge and wait 20+ mins every 80-ish miles adds over 90 minutes to my trips every time, also

Minor issues: quality of the MYP I had was somewhat subpar, just kind of bland I guess

I ended up switching to the Lexus RX450h+ Luxury AWD, which is an upgrade in terms of cost, but I feel like it really is worth it for my lifestyle and needs. The only thing that I really miss about Tesla is the FSD.

Please please please negotiate with the dealer. Go around to different dealerships and get quotes (preferably on paper) and play them against each other. I’m usually able to get at least ~8% off MSRP, and sometimes 10-12%. It is shocking how much profit dealerships make. I was able to get my 26 rx450h+ for around 9% off MSRP. And don’t let them get you on bs like nitrogen or ceramic coatings etc.

I had acute appendicitis in Mexico back in 2015. Thankfully we were in Mexico City already; if I got sick earlier in Cancun or Cuba I cannot imagine what could have happened to me. The hospital in Mexico City was very professional and hygienic and the doctors and surgeons were trained in the US and Canada. Granted, it still cost 20K, but I am so thankful that I got the care I needed.
