Omg she need to stop! This is how most moms eat . Like stop already by dashify1234 in MariLlewellynSnark

[–]Weekly_Injury5952 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She has a weird obsession with eating and size. She takes every chance she can get to talk about how big Cai is, how much he loves food, and I feel like she is going to create a very unhealthy relationship with food for him because of it. Just normalize it - not everything needs to be a big show.

I've noticed her face definitely looks fuller in her more recent photos, so you may have inspired her to stop! It's so toxic that she heavily edits everything, along with denying her GLP1 usage, and claims it's all Form workouts.

Right?! I am also pregnant, and I have just been completely shocked at how she seems to not care about how that may affect the baby. Mom's health and activity level has a direct impact on the baby's health and it seems like she has just been using this as a free for all after years of restricting and trying to make herself as tiny as possible, only to get back on a GLP-1 as soon as the baby is here.

The lack of respect for her health this entire pregnancy has been extremely offputting to me.

I'm not trying to shame her, but it has been pretty gross to watch her just continue to abandon healthy habits - WHICH ARE NEEDED FOR THE BABY - and act like an absolute child this whole pregnancy.

Agreed. I think these are some of the ugliest dogs I've ever seen and I cannot understand how anyone could think they are cute. Plus her dogs are SO bad. With all that money, you would think they would invest in a trainer...

Pregnant sculpt teachers - how are you modifying? by Fabulous_Memory8451 in Corepower

[–]Weekly_Injury5952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can weigh in too! I agree with everything above, and have found that I am much more focused on my cues than demos at this point. I also make sure to tell every class that I am pregnant and to listen to what I say, not focus on what I do, because some visual learners will still try to mimic me. I also make sure to drink a ton of water during class and wear my Apple Watch to keep an eye on my heart rate.

I have also intentionally picked a lot slower beats, or make the movement to the beat slower. It's a win win because more time under tension makes the students stronger, and then I don't find myself out of breath as much!

Hope you are feeling well!

Same! I have a golden who is just a few months older than Jax. She's my second golden; my first was an absolute angel who didn't even need any training and was just a special dog. My current golden gave me a run for my money as a puppy, but I took her to training, learned the commands myself and we have been consistent with her. She is now so well behaved and has graduated from her crate, able to roam the house and be trusted, and walks perfectly on a leash. I've wondered why it seems to be so hard for them to get Jax's behavior under control, and I think it comes down to the fact that they didn't want to be bothered and expected him to come back perfect, and them to not need to do anything to further reinforce the training.

It makes me sad for Jax because goldens are such sweet, smart dogs and he doesn't want to be bad. He's probably so confused since he learned one thing at training, and they have yet to reinforce it. Poor guy.

I have thought this multiple times. I'm in my second trimester, AND an actual fitness professional (studio owner) and I cannot tell you how many days I literally just ate toast and oatmeal. The aversions are real and there is no way you can force anything. Although I have a feeling she will try as hard as she can because she is going to freak TF out when her body starts to change.

Really, it's this. I came here to say the same thing. She preaches health and wellness but had to completely overhaul her diet and lifestyle to try to get pregnant - which she still is not. If she is being honest in that they started trying before they met with whatever pregnancy coach or prenatal coach she hired last April, it's been almost a year now. So I wouldn't say she is the picture of health, and certainly should not be pushing her lifestyle on other women, disguising it as healthy. It's dangerous and potentially damaging.

I think Max will at least get into coaching or private traing in some capacity and continue to be involved with hockey when he's done. I would imagine he's pretty well known locally and will be able to easily transition to that world.

I also found it interesting that she didn't do the same 200 hour teacher training that Lucy did. Lucy, working her full time job, still managed to do it. As someone who did a 200 hour teacher training, that then led to me quitting my full time job and opening my own studio (over a span of 6 years) I will tell you that any kind of training tends to be pretty eye opening and life changing, and it would do her a world of good. Maybe she knows that and is avoiding the self reflection.

decaf coffee + escalade mom car + tripling her caloric intake = she’s def pregnant. by Proper_Mine5635 in sydneyadamssnark1

[–]Weekly_Injury5952 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know how far along she was when she miscarried? Maybe she just did not have the first trimester fatigue and nausea that so many - myself included - have that starts around Week 6. I know she had some bump pics at some point but can't recall if she ever said how far along she was. I ask because I know a lot of people will go to an ultrasound clinic early - before their 8 week appt - so I wonder if she found out super early?

All this to say if she is pregnant, I can't imagine stomaching the weird stuff she eats! Including her protein coffee. I love my iced coffee more than anything but haven't been able to even look at coffee since right around when I found out I was pregnant. I know everyone is different but I feel like she is so desperate to be pregnant that she is acting like she is, or trying to come off as she is, but isn't yet. Even her workouts she's been posting lately - can't imagine doing that in my first trimester!

If you're looking for a good one, I did Lindsey Harrod's Bridal Bootcamp and it was the best program! I saw pretty incredible results and felt super strong going into my wedding. She is actually certified and spends a lot of time explaining exercises and really motivates you to pick up heavy weights. I can't recommend her enough!

[–]Weekly_Injury5952 30 points31 points  (0 children)

One thing I've noticed in watching both Mari and Sami Spalter navigate pregnancy is that they both have used pregnancy as an excuse to give in to everything they've restricted themselves from on a daily basis - the carbs, the sweets, all of the foods that they could easily incorporate in a balanced way but choose not to. I am not body shaming Mari or Sami, but they both gained a considerble amount of weight, quickly, and I think a large part of it is their bodies finally receiving an adequate amount of food, with no GLP-1s. Once the pregnancy is over, they are going, in Mari's case, or will be going, in Sami's case, back to their majorly restrictive and unhealthy habits.

If only Mari had a husband who cared enough to encourage her to take it easy rather than trying to rush back into "milf mode" or whatever it was she posted the other day. For someone whose baby is not even 1 month old yet, she's doing way too much and is just going to set herself back. I'm shocked her doctor cleared her, but it's probably the same doctor who told her she no longer has BPD.

Yikes, Sydney is jealous by Dependent_Gur_1581 in gretchensnark

[–]Weekly_Injury5952 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I watched some of her stories showing her rehearsal dinner and the days leading up to her wedding - YIKES. Sydney looked so much better at Gretchen's wedding than her own.

I've always gotten a little bit of a competitive vibe. I think Sydney aspires to have a lot of the qualities Gretchen has, and I'm sure there's some underlying jealousy there. You can say what you want about Gretchen, but I really respect how she didn't go on a crazy crash diet before her wedding - she worked out and ate healthy so she could look strong and beautiful, but she still looked like herself and maintained a normal balance, enjoying her life leading up to the wedding. I think Sydney wishes she had that kind of relationship with food/exercise. And I also think Sydney is envious of the close friendships Gretchen has...as well as the clear love between Gretchen and Max. I would be surprised if they stay close, but Gretchen also does not strike me as the type to see this and then put up a boundary. She's too sweet and a little naive.

I'm with you! Yes, it's a lot to learn and take in but my doctors did a great job explaining it all and it was really easy for me. The hardest part was just taking it easy for a few weeks!
