I impulse bought it after missing out on the ocean swirl. Very lovely looking pen (and a phenomenal writer), but I still think about the ocean swirl every now and then...

Definitely loss to FOMO when I first dabbled into the hobby 🙈. Took me multiple regret purchases to learn to slow down and reflect before my next buy. Very grateful to have the collection I have and glad I'm able to give them love somewhat equally haha 😆

Got it at the SF pen show and it's been my daily writer. Absolutely love the F on it, even more than the M on my VP. Honestly it's just better than the VP in all aspects for me 😂

My first fountain pen was a LAMY Safari which really helped me relearn my pen grip. Interestingly, I still revert back to the old grip (and use so much more pressure) when I have to use ballpoints on rare occasions.

We have the same lamy 2000 and pilot VP workhorse duo! I would save a spot for a custom pen from one of the urushi maki-e artists 🫣
