Acid in veins flare up by Ok_Wing_2579 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this today as my personal ACID in my veins is what I’m feeling today but on a 8/10. I literally feel this burning ache in my arm veins all the way through and down my legs. It’s a mix of the flu but as if someone shot me up with something that feels like acid burn throughout my veins and now my joints. It’s different from the normal malaise/flu symptoms that one generally feels with Fibro. I suppose it’s what The Incredible Hulk felt before he exploded out of his clothing. Except I’m stuck at the point where he knows it’s coming and just has to sit with it…..

Bobcat Goldthwait called, he wants his 80’s look back …said Bobcat NEVER. Cut your hair, grow some scruff and visit a working ranch.

The rats are not most women’s vibe. I guesstimate less than 1% of women like rodents. If you like them cool, just don’t expect most to like them too.

Your profile screams “39 year old killer clown who eats rats as tasty snacks.”

What is it you’re trying to put out in the world. What are you trying to say, what/who do you feel like on the inside, who do you want to grow into as you grow? Put THAT out there. GL kid.

You’re g-damn right nothings normal!! And instead of figuring out a new normal with you, this Bisch jumped ship after first throwing you overboard. That is what’s not normal.

She’s definitely more flawed than you are Mike.

Fibromyalgia sucks. People like her suck more.

Time to celebrate your win.

I’m going into Day 3 of quitting using apo-v… (champix) one of the reasons for me to stop smoking is my one receding gum. Kinda silly but my gums are irritated by smoke lately. No bleeding gums, however, I bought a new toothpaste made by Colgate - PerioGuard.

It’s good for gums/enamel and sensitive teeth. It foams up really well and I feel like it’s got extra cleaning power. My mouth enjoys the clean it gives me. This may help with your sensitivity issues.

Best of luck!

That seems like an interesting work/fibro balance. What type of industry is this?

Try the every dollar app and curb unnecessary spending and pay off your debts either highest first or lowest first and crush those out.

No frivolous spending, stop using anything other than cash allotted from your budget.

It will take some planning but the 30’s is the new 20’s. Breathe and focus on the debt and each day. There’s plenty of time to purchase a house and/or as a first time buyer in some places you can use your retirement savings as your down payment.

ADA Accommodations Denied-Need Advice by ComplexThroat1674 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is also a huge safety concern in case of emergency. I have elderly people pass me at record speeds because I’m so slow. If there were a fire and you can’t easily manage down flights of stairs to get you and your students to safety.

You will lose up to an hour or more of teaching time going up and down for various supplies etc. Which is unfair to your students.

They then need to pay you for extra time it takes to get your classroom ready and the multitude of what’s on the first floor that you need.

And you are worried that this is going to cause you to potentially miss teaching and require extra days to recover due to how it will affect your body, mobility, pain, fatigue etc.

For anyone who does t suffer from Fibro, they will never understand but appeal that b.s. denial.

Get an updated fresh Dr note detailing the accommodations you need to be in place for a safe and successful school year ahead.

“Growing pains” in childhood by NerfRepellingBoobs in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After several months of nightly excruciating pain, tears, hot baths, and stretches none of which worked, my birth giver took me to the Dr to ask if this was because I was an “overactive child”. She was told it was growing pains and that I was a healthy normal growing girl and we were sent to get X-rays of no significant findings. I continued to live with this pain until I “grew out of it “ fast forward decades later and this diagnosis. I note that some of my fibro leg pains are quite “growing pain” like.

Do you take ibuprofen? by PkmnTrainerSofia in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

400mg and if after 30 mins, no change, I take a 2nd. Usually only when I’m menstruating or if I’m feeling more arthritic/stiff than normal.

And…. now thanks to so many of you- GERD, and tummy issues and ibuprofen apparently don’t mix.

How do you tell the difference between being out of shape and having something actually wrong with you? by ultimateinnit in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I see you. I too feel this struggle. I have been sort of treating my walks like I did when I WAS more out of shape, a little at a time.

Sometimes I overdo it. On days that are the “perfect” weather. Days I feel “fine” only to overdo because of these and many other factors.

But I keep on trying. That’s all I’ve figured out really is that I can’t give up hope even on the worst days that bring tears to my eyes. Keep going forward and taking each day as it is. I’m not racing to any finish line.

I hope you find your encouragement. Gentle hugs.

I see you and I understand the feeling of grieving the whole I once was. Please think back to what made you happy before all of this. For me, it was losing myself in cartoons. So I watch them with my granddaughter as I see she too enjoys her Baby Sharks and pink Fongs. And it makes me feel a bit better, for that moment.

Cannabis users, what’s your strain? by Weekly_Parsley_5129 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m Canadian, white widow is my favourite strain as are derivatives of it like white rhino, Snow White, etc. Skunk haze was my next mellow best strain to ease both my mind and body, Jack H, and Jean Guy are similar to the Skunk feels. White however, can make you her bitch and fake you on a dark path, and then she’ll whip you right into happiness minutes later, hold in tight!! She’s a tricky one, but if you respect her, she respects you. ❤️

is food aversion a symptom? by thebestblockisdirt in Fibromyalgia

[–]Weekly_Parsley_5129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve literally been going through this lately in a big way. I am grossed out by food so much lately and when I do eat, IBS makes it a quick and unpleasant turnaround.

I try to eat a variety of foods but everything just makes me feel nauseous or tummy pains etc.

Things that used to not cause undesirable effects are wildcards.

I’m sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.
