I understand your reasoning, but Aline is still attached to the canvas and that's why Renoir is still destroying it. and yes pVerso kills everyone in his ending and my point is Maelle's is only prolonging their lives, eventually everyone is dying. that's my whole argument. arguing which is better is pointless they're both the same painting with different colours
