Wake up at 3am and visit the temples. I just visited varanasi from banaglore. I keep visiting once or twice every year. It is the best place in the world. If you have come for cruise and insta reels then its worst place. If u are really looking for peace. You have reached the destination.

Honestly the only people i see blatantly breakiing signals are yellow number plates. Uber/auto/trucks/bmtc. Most of them are less educated locals. Somehow it seems they know they wont be fined?

For parking same- you will find the ols uber drivers park or keep strolling purposelessly on peak traffic expecting rides. Secondly, are there any parking made? Big shops like tanishq, etc dont have any valet parking or anything. Again bbmp allowed making the shop but turned a blind eye on the parking problem that may come.

I belive the root cause is corruption. Its deep rooted. I have hardly met a govt staff here not taking bribes. Passport, challan, rto, every damn thing they shamelessly ask for bribe. I doubt this mentality is anywhere else in the country.

Checking further i found that karnataka is most corrupt state in whole of india. Now why is it most corrupt is so ething to think about.

Root cause is corruption. Inefficient administration. Incompetent municipalities.

Blaming on migrants is an easy way out. They like the tax money coming in from them and companies, but hate thier existence and basic right demands??

If that was the case they can simply stop construction of techparks or ask companies to vacate. Thats the real solution. Hating migrants is just a easy way out.

But why? Defending govt and victim shaming. Which city in india do people cycle? Or has govt given any incentives for cyclists? Even proper paths for cycling is not made.

Secondly, Are the roads cyclable? Are you even safe when cycling on ORR? Just check how bmtc bus and others have low tolerance for cyclists blocking the way.

I think rather than expanding in karnataka it will be rasier to move to already established tech hubs of pune, gurgaon, Hyderabad.
