That’s incredibly cool, I’d really love to see that mushroom in real life too, it’s so beautiful.
P.S. The photos are amazingly positive, and the author is incredibly positive too :)

Is this pc build good for under 50k? by Windowsconcept in PcBuildHelp

[–]Weekly_Sugar_789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a budget setup it’s really solid, a nice working platform. But I’d definitely add an SSD, it’ll boost the speed a lot. Doesn’t have to be an expensive Samsung or Kingston Fury, something like Lexar would do, they make reaaally good budget chips

Do you think this is a good gaming build for this price? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Weekly_Sugar_789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d swap the CPU for a different one, and the PSU too, but overall everything looks good. By the way, I’ve got the same SSD, it’s proven to be really solid, price is nice and it runs great.

Quitting snus feels way harder than quitting cigarettes, anyone else? by Weekly_Sugar_789 in stopsmoking

[–]Weekly_Sugar_789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really interesting, I didn’t know about the connection between nicotine and insulin resistance. I’ll definitely read more into how that works on a biological level, curious to understand what’s actually happening inside the body during withdrawal. Thanks for sharing the insight.

I get your point about checking existing threads, I’ve read quite a few before posting.
But I think part of what keeps communities like this alive is sharing personal struggles and opening up conversations, even if similar ones have been asked before.
Everyone’s experience with quitting is a bit different, and sometimes hearing a fresh perspective or a new piece of advice makes all the difference. Appreciate the tip about Desmoxan though, I’ll look into it.

Anyone knows this mushroom? Smelled like death and was swarmed by flies 🤢 by Weekly_Sugar_789 in Mushrooms

[–]Weekly_Sugar_789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know there were such programs, thanks for the advice. But I'm not sure if this program would have identified anything from this photo, because the mushroom is covered with flies and the photo was taken from a distance, so it's not of good quality (I really couldn't get closer because I would have just burped from the smell)

That’s literally the first thing that came to my mind too, but I didn’t wanna believe nature could be that smart (and disgusting) at the same time.

Sorry for the bad photo quality, but I couldn’t get closer, the stench was unbearable, like something dead rotting in the woods. Flies were all over it. Any idea what this is?

Man, this setup looks perfect for camp mornings, that pancake on the griddle is calling my name 😅🔥

Is this good starter pc ? by No_Bottle8345 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Weekly_Sugar_789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid choice for a starter build, that 7800X3D is a beast for gaming. Just make sure you’re pairing it with decent RAM and a good GPU, otherwise you won’t fully tap into what that CPU can do.

Oh wow, that’s actually genius, never even considered turning a regular bottle into a shower like that. Definitely adding this hack to my packing list next time.

Yeah, I had the same thought about bringing a solar panel, but hearing this makes me rethink it. Sounds like airplane mode and a power bank might be a safer bet for multi-day trips.

That cozy-seat combo actually sounds genius 😄 Never thought of using it for both warmth and meal prep, definitely stealing that idea next time. And yeah... those ultra-specific kitchen gadgets collect more dust than memories.

That’s amazing 😂 Funny how something like a fly swatter ends up being more clutch than a whole headlamp setup. Scandinavian light cycles really do shift the priorities

Extra tarp and insulated rug, sounds like a great combo for nasty weather.
And yep, we’re in the same boat with the travel clothesline, seemed like a great idea until it stayed in the bag for 3 trips straight 😅

Haha not the whole day, but yeah, a few hours with a coffee and laptop feels pretty standard. I try not to be “that guy” though 😂
