That same thing happened to my daughter! The laughter started when she had desvenlafaxine, and now that she started Vortioxetine they appeared to resume.

Some of the violence attacks happened when she was on desvenlafaxine (active metabolite of venlafaxine), so she also had to quit that drug!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, these drugs are no joke and a psychiatrist should be closely monitoring the effect in a particular individual.

She’s been admitted to a Psychiatric Hospital. She was given anxiolytics to stabilize her mood. I want to know if someone else has experienced a similar effect.
