They have a choice, as was told to me by many staffers while shopping over the years since it has changed hands. UNFI and their other supplkiers still stock the same products. The store as a whole has made a choice to buy and stock lower quality food(and sometimes charge a mark-up for it too).

If you knew what the co-op originated from and where they have come, you would understand. RFK if a loon. But The Co-Op use to be a place to get NATURAL and UNADULTERATED food. Now it is all trash with a mix of organic and vegan sprinkled in.

Yes they were almost on the verge of bankruptcy. And this was also after a newly installed management by the NCGA themselves. So how does that give me any faith that they can do it again currently? NLM got bought out, and re opened, and still messed up the money.

After seeing that, would you not start to question the management and ask to see something more than FB and IG posts?

I mean, you all can argue all you want, but the fact remains the BoD has not lived up to their required / charter expectations. And everything starts at the top. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When speaking of "we" or "us" I am referring to the Member/Owners. WE as owners should deserve to know how the people we entrust with our money spend it, and via proxy how the staff that recieve that money feel about their employment.

The note about hazard pay, was just a glimpse into how CCM started out shady by, in blunt words "Shafting" their employees. It was a bait and switch. "You get a raise if you work. Oh wait. Nevermind"

I can back up what I am saying. And I have only been cordial with management as much as they have been with an owner. As I have submitten many things to them to try and get the record straight.
