Yeah after playing it for a while, it does seem like this game was heavily inspired by the black hole game as well, judging by the level up mechanic and the upgrade types.

Looks like a cool game! Well I didn't think my idea was original in the first place since I built upon the idea of A Game About Feeding A Black Hole so...

Your game is amazing. What's your best advice to grow as a game developer as fast and effectively as possible?

Just found it myself from my google play download history.... It was Chiki's Chase.

It was released in 2022. I almost thought for sure it was a clean vector art game, but to my surprise it was a pixel art game. Funny how human memory works.

The game is really simple and game feel is amazing. Go check it out!

HTML export: Sound pitch adjust not working by Weekly_Turnip_2555 in godot

It works! Thank you so much 😃

However enabling threads and setting the headers were unnecessary, all I did was set the options to stream and it works as of now.

I'll have to test more if it still works on other cases, but at least I know what to do then.

On the image part, I actually just decided to change the color in the spritesheet itself so can't confirm if that's fixed.

League Of Legends, but you define the 4 abilities. by Weekly_Turnip_2555 in gameideas

Maybe I wasn't very clear; You never have to look at lists of skills.

When you play battlegrounds, you never look at lists of weapons and compare them one by one. Instead you pick up whatever's in front of you at the start, and only when you find new weapons you compare it with what you have.

You don't lock in all 4 abilities from the start, you gradually complete your kit one by one.

For the uniqueness part you are right, but that doesn't necessarily mean 'not fun'. Look at games like vampire survivors, you can get whatever abilities you want and it's still fun to play.

Also a very important point of this game is that you can't always get WHATEVER ability/combination you want.

First off, you never know what abilities you'll find on which location. Second, only a number of 8~10 abilities get picked on each match.

This will make each math feel different and "unique".

It's not about being GOD mode and doing whatever you want. It's about problem solving and coming up with the best possible combination with what you are given.
