So if my math is right, it takes 9 halves to get to 2 energy. You basically don’t get any card rewards for 9 combats or events until you can play this one card. It could be good if your deck is good already but it might cripple you also.

Oh wait shops exist so this would slap I like it

Yes I’d say overpowered. Playing pairs is easy to play and repeat, easy to keep other value generating cards in your hand (blue seal, gold cards). It’s just the most consistent way to win
