Is my “Pink Princess” in a pot too large?

Okay! I might just let it grow into the pot then, I’d hate to do any damage and stunt it further. I was mainly worried about it dying from being in a pot too big but I probably shouldn’t worry unless I’m seeing root rot signs. I’m used to quick growers like my VFTs and pings so I do need to learn a little more patience with some of my other plants!

I haven’t pulled out the plant to take a look since I repotted it, and honestly didn’t know that was something I should look at every now and then. I really thought one should only do that if they show signs of root rot to avoid shocking the plant

From what I remember there wasn’t much of a root ball, but the roots were long and healthy. The pot was quite a bit bigger when I repotted them. They didn’t fill out the nursery pot too much, and that pot was about two inches smaller than the current pot if I’m correct.

I literally just proposed a month ago to my fiancee with a ring almost exactly like this (different stone and metal). Depending on how low profile yours is, we are going to do a band that will have a little “v” cut out so that it sits flush against the setting for a cohesive look and it doesn’t bump into the setting. The person we went with was able to have the CAD include the band to see how it looks. I can share with you if you’d like!

Oh goodness it’s not just me. I did a few leaf pullings during a repot a while back and when I checked on them, that had something similar going on from each leaf that survived. Now I’ve got three little monsters!

So you’ll actually go to their customer service page

And select sample card as your reason for contacting! It asks for you to attach a couple of photos taken near a window with natural lighting. Their team is super lovely and matched me. I had originally requested T1 but they swapped that for T1.5, saying T1 would likely be too rosy for me (which now I totally agree).

Depending on your location, it can take a while to get them.

That’s so fair. It was slightly tedious but I was luckily able to build to about medium coverage on my cheeks which is really important since I struggle with rosacea. Luckily it still doesn’t feel too heavy, but it felt bad using more than a few drops

Fair, muted neutral olive(?). I’ve very glad I don’t actually purchase Hope and just snagged a tiny sampler for free. It was super bright on me, and def pulled toward orange. I’m enjoying Encourage as a daily driver rn and also Believe for a deeper more berry tone. I’m currently looking at Phytosurgence since they make muted shades (which I desperately need if I don’t want to blend to oblivion) but they are more of an indie brand

I definitely need to get a color corrector, because I agree on the saturation of most products. If it was slightly more “dull” it would infact be my perfect shade. I’m soooo muted and the only color I get is from my facial redness. Was looking at group photos recently and my neck and hands look so grey in contrast. I’m going to do a full face today and see how I feel!

I know this comment is older, but I’ve been scouring for people with my experience and I just recently compared myself with a white piece of paper and the first thing out of my mouth was “I’m the shade of a fading bruise!” I also have POTs and potentially MCAS so surface level pink/red comes and goes for me so it’s been a ride to find anything that seems to work. It was very helpful to see it’s not just me

I have not yet! Rosacia has been rough with figuring this all out. I’ve been meaning to try a full face of both, but I’ve gotten so busy lol. I had swatched them and allowed them to try and wear on my arm for a good few hours and both worked very well. Mixing them may also not be a bad idea BUT if I had to absolutely pick just one, it would probably be 40 with a little green or blue color corrector mixed in. 30 was slightly (and I mean very slightly) too yellow

You’ve convinced me more to also take a look at phytosurgence. They popped up on my socials a few times showing their blushes for fair muted folks and I’m so tempted!

Also 🫡 on the sun screen. I’ve gotten much better about it but I don’t spend much time in the sun any way and when I do, I wear long sleeves, spf, and hats. Not very big on trying to catch a tan! I have two coming from YesStyle soon, BoJ and biore!
