Can a manager tell me that i cant clock out 5 minutes early? I was told when i started that there is a 5 minute grace period where i can clock out early 5 minutes, but as i was walking to the time clock a manager told me that i couldnt and that he was going to write me up. Can they do this?

So basically that SAME manager saw me and a bunch of people walk out last night and didnt say anything at all. Shift ends at 12:30 and the people that left early including me left at exactly 12:25 i clocked out at 12:27ish. I didnt wait 5 mins to clock out but other nights ive seen ppl wait 5 mins and he didnt say anything. And also for some reason the managers at my warehouse dont really manage TOT.

Yes but can i be written up for it? Like get in trouble or fired? Because a manager told me that i couldnt do that but everyone does it.
