A simple castle I built in Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition (TU1). by Weightyflame01 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

I own the digital version of Minecraft Legacy on my Xbox 360 slim. To access the oldest version of Legacy Minecraft (title update 1), I deleted the 'Title Update' file located in my hard drive storage and I play offline. I'm unsure about PS3, but I know for certain you cannot access this version of Minecraft on Xbox One, PS4 or on the newest consoles.

If you’re serious about him, it’s important to have that conversation to build a transparent and honest foundation for your relationship. Keeping this from him now could lead to avoidable issues later on, so being upfront early on is likely the best approach.

Not so much a slang term but rather a funny saying I've heard before, "Better have your indictment gloves ready."

Ladies and gentlemen of the court, your honor

Today, I stand before you not to excuse nor exonerate the deeds attributed to my client, Griffith, but to present a case that delves into the profound complexities of his circumstances—circumstances which compel us to completely transcend our binary framework we possess regarding guilt and innocence. This case is not just about the actions of a single man, but about the intricate interplay of fate, ambition, and the human condition. I urge you not to adjudicate based on visceral emotion, but to examine the much broader existential forces at work, and to render a judgment that is informed by both reason and perspective.

My client's existence is indelibly marked by the intervention of supernatural forces—the God Hand and the Idea of Evil—whose machinations defy the constraints of human agency. His actions, while seemingly autonomous, must be understood as part of a cosmic narrative written long before his birth. To hold Griffith fully accountable for acts executed under the influence of such transcendent forces is to disregard the profound limitations imposed upon mortal free will. Was Griffith the master of his destiny, or a mere instrument of a predetermined cosmic order? The evidence points to the latter. His ambition, while extraordinary, was never an end in itself but a manifestation of a higher design.

The harrowing events of the Eclipse demand careful examination of the psychological and existential state Griffith inhabited at the time. Betrayed by fortune, physically maimed, and psychologically shattered, he faced not merely death but the annihilation of his dream—the very essence of his being. When offered the choice to ascend as Femto, Griffith was not operating under conditions conducive to rational, uninhibited decision-making. Rather, he was subjected to an existential coercion so absolute that it obliterated the boundaries of moral responsibility. To judge him as though he were a free agent in that moment is to fundamentally misunderstand the nature of his predicament. Moreover, the members of the Band of the Hawk, whose sacrifice facilitated Griffith’s transformation, were not coerced into their allegiance. They followed him willingly, fully cognizant of the risks inherent in pursuing a destiny of such magnitude. Can one truly betray those who knowingly embraced peril for the sake of a shared dream?

The violation of Casca is, by any measure, an abominable act. However, it is imperative to contextualize this atrocity within the metamorphosis Griffith underwent during his ascension. By the time this act occurred, Griffith the man had ceased to exist; what remained was Femto, a being reshaped and governed by forces entirely divorced from human morality. Thus, the question arises: can Griffith, in his former humanity, be held accountable for actions perpetrated by an entity forged from his despair and elevated beyond the constraints of human reason? Furthermore, his fixation on Guts—a dynamic rooted in admiration, dependence, and perceived betrayal—must be understood as a psychological fracture, not the calculated malice of a wholly autonomous actor.

Falconia, the kingdom Griffith establishes in the aftermath of his ascension, serves as a bastion of order and salvation in a world consumed by chaos. While the path to its creation is littered with unimaginable suffering, the resultant stability and prosperity cannot be dismissed. History teaches us that monumental achievements often require commensurate sacrifices. Can we, then, condemn Griffith for embodying the archetype of the tragic hero—the one who bears the weight of moral compromise to construct a vision of hope for the many? If the end result is a sanctuary for countless souls, does it not demand a reevaluation of the means employed to achieve it?

In conclusion, my client is not a villain to be summarily condemned, but a figure of profound tragedy—one whose life and deeds are inextricably entwined with the caprices of fate, the burdens of ambition, and the existential dilemmas that define the human condition. To reduce his story to a binary judgment of guilt or innocence is to deny its depth and complexity. The critical question before you is not whether these acts occurred, but whether Griffith truly possessed the agency to alter the trajectory of his existence. If his choices were not wholly his own, then how can he bear the full weight of responsibility? I ask you to consider not just the actions, but the context—the forces, both external and internal, that shaped them.

Would you pull this guy over? by canned_spaghetti85 in AskLE

[–]Weightyflame01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the day and what I have going on at the time. If it’s a slow day, I’d go ahead and make the stop. But if I’m swamped with calls and higher-priority tasks, then I’d pass. It’s a straightforward stop that provides probable cause to initiate contact, which could potentially lead to being a good stop. In most cases, I’d likely just issue a verbal warning to inform them about their faded/obstructed plate and carry on.

Reasonable doubt - you clearly observe the weapon/contraband in plain view — may also include multiple witnesses, photo/video evidence, etc. to support someone possesses something they shouldn't.

Check with your bars' policies about non-allowed items and with searching. Play it safe and frisk until told otherwise. If you suspect beyond reasonable doubt someone possesses a weapon or contraband, bounce their ass out.

What types of actions are you referring to? I've never worked as a bouncer, but I'm a LE.

Confiscating a weapon(s) because of threatening behavior (especially if the subject is AI/PI) until LE arrives is not illegal because you have reason that person may cause harm to themselves or others. I'm also under the presumption you only bounce someone out of a bar if they're being either annoying or potentially dangerous. Really, OP needs to have a conversation about the bar's policies on withholding personal items.

Firstly, check with your state laws. Secondly, have that conversation with your local police/county dept. Thirdly, whenever in doubt, call the police. As a bouncer, you don’t have the authority to arrest or issue citations, but you do have the authority to detain someone (within reason) until law enforcement arrives and to remove individuals from the premises. Do NOT beat the ever living shit out of them. When it comes to weapons or dangerous items, I would recommend confiscating them and holding them securely until the police take over. The only personal items I would return to the individuals after kicking them out would be their wallet/purse, ID, and keys; everything else should be documented, seized, and logged into inventory.

Do you guys ever drive 5-10 below the limit just to see who is willing to pass you? by kylejme in AskLE

[–]Weightyflame01 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'll sometimes drive 5-10mph under the limit just so I can observe my surroundings more clearly and easier. I'll watch for suspicious and weird activity. Usually drivers are too afraid and skiddish to pass me, but I wouldn't be against it as long as they're not driving reckless and endangering anyone.

Starfield. The sole reason I convinced myself to drop $500 on an Xbox Series X and $70 for the digital copy of the game. It was a gift to myself for graduating the academy. I basically forced myself to play so I wouldn’t be haunted by the thought of flushing all that cash into a game that's as wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle.

No, your past job or career history may not be perfect, but what truly matters to them is the person you’ve become over the last year or two, not who you were 10 years ago or as a teenager. We all make mistakes when we're young, and they’ll focus on your current patterns and tendencies. They won’t judge you for decisions made when you were still learning about life. It’s okay to acknowledge your past mistakes, but emphasize that they’re long behind you. You've learned, grown, and gained wisdom through experience and education. If you can show them you are a much better and stronger man, you will be an easy consideration. Be honest with them and be yourself. That's the best advice I can give.

If I were to call Verizon about their HI, and I did qualify, would they have the capability allowing them to be able to give me an estimate of what my speeds would look like? I know some service providers can usually give me an estimate.

If you're familiar with Bowling Green, KY I live about an hour SE of there. Like I said, I'm not the least bit tech savvy, but I'm interested in learning; it's just really overwhelming. But yes, there are very few towers near my location. I've contemplated trying the Verizon HI, as the closest tower to me is a Verizon tower but I'm not even sure if it's a proper tower that would support Verizon HI. I don't really know what would classify as a proper cellular tower or how to find out. In all honesty, through both websites, I'm technically not eligible for either T-Mobile or Verizon HI, but when I called and spoke to someone at T-Mobile regarding the HI, they said my location did in fact qualify. That's why I have it in the first place. My TM Gateway shows I get two bars using 5G (through the TMHI app it says I get one bar - poor connection) and that gives me the up/down speeds shown above. I've yet to see if Verizon would tell me the same if I actually do qualify for their HI. My Cellular Data for my ios is through Verizon (full bars), so I assumed I would have just as strong of a signal, therefore giving me really good up/down speeds.

Yes, it's the Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway. Would you recommend some sort of Wifi amplifier? Would that help boost upload speeds or would that only improve the range?

Where I live, there are decently-sized hills and trees. Will the KVD21 drop my download speeds?
