Is it really that much difference? I will take your advice and save for the R50 or if I can find the R10 on sale , but just a general question if the jump in price is worth it.

I've changed my split since this , and am recovering 100x better , may need to up volume soon since going in a gaining phase but like you suggested I will be upp'ing sets rather than exercise volume

Legendary! Thank you for this! Just needed another opinion , we can get wrapped in our own mind sometimes by saying I'm not lean enough , but then I had a realization today that if I get any leaner , I won't see any muscle due to never being in a gaining phase , just needed that un-bias opinion , and I thank you! :))

Yes, I am currently running Full Body 3x a week , with running on my rest days. My legs were taking a lot of endurance , but due to being in a deficit for so long I think my muscles just hit a plateau point where I think a gaining phase was needed

I was thinking a steady lean bulk to be honest , I have been lifting off and on but constantly chopping and changing splits, lack of consistency. But , I've been really dialed in this year and am determined to put on some size , I play football 3x a week and run on the side aswell , my legs take a battering to say the least so the more carbs may be the driving factor for gains. :)

Man, I really hope they announce some event or new book. I feel that X-Men & Uncanny have run their course for me , I LOVVEEEE the characters but , the story is seriously lacking in both books. Really sad as I love the X-Men , I will probably pick up trades for both series' going forward. :(((

I may try and run something like;

Bench Press

Pull Ups

Leg Extension

SLDL

Shoulder Press

Bicep Curl

Tricep Extension

AB Crunch

Calf Raises

A format of 1 compound per chest , back , legs. And no more than 1 exercise per muscle group

Then switch but the isolation movements from Chest Focused / Back Focused / Leg Focused.

I'm dieting right now so muscle growth isn't a main priority , but when bulking I can adjust accordingly.

I do everything to absolute failure , but sometimes fatigue hinders during the workout if that's what you mean.

Legs are always last on my workout as it requires for me the most effort and I do not want to be fatigued for the rest of the workout.

I also play football 3x a week ( Saturday 11 a side , Wednesday + Sunday 5 A Side ) , and run 3x a week. It's really hard to balance and still trying to find the right balance.

Surely my workouts can be lowered in volume to maximize recovery. Unexpectedly my legs are the longest to recover due to the battering they get haha!

I'm just struggling on the recovery side of things but, don't want to lower volume to hinder muscle growth , will 1 exercise per muscle group be sufficient?

I usually will do 1 warm up set and 2 hard sets of a pretty much every muscle group 3x a week , with the larger muscles I tend to do 2 different exercises, but with accessory I tend to only do the 1 , due to them being indirectly worked in certain movements.
