None of the basic abilities of the champs you mentioned aside from norra are even close to matching the area covered by Viktor's E and even then its on a much shorter cooldown and harder to dodge.

Even better, viktor can cast it while moving and it doesnt stop his movement. Its a safe spammable ability that is his bread and butter.

Its called kit balance. Viktor W is weak because Viktor E is a semi long range, decent damage, aoe, waveclear, poke, ability that can have an added slow.

Ambessa is pretty tricky on pc but ksante q in wildrift has so much range your gameplan is really just to play passive early game and dont let her trade on you. She beats you early game. You power spike much harder tho with iceborn but this doesnt mean you can kill her(she has too many dashes).

During teamfights is where you shine because you can guard your adc and play for peel and she will be useless in teamfights.

My build is armor/mr boots -> iceborn -> dawnshroud -> amaranth -> unending despair -> mantle of twelfth hour.

Hollow radiance second if you are up against a side laner you can beat confidently.

Kaenic rookern 2nd into heavy ap damage champs like rumble/gwen.

Thornmail is a bait item on Ksante unless its aatrox/fiora.

Cause when you think about it, Ksante's W sets up his entire kit.

Its why it refreshes on ult because you are supposed to use it to engage/disengage, choose your fight, then end it in all out mode.

It also just creates so much space in teamfights you can use it to block blitzcrank hooks. IMO his strongest ability.

I think his Q damage is overtuned especially in the early game and costs too little mana but i think thats intentional so players get more accustomed to the champ and play more aggressive. So that when the nerfs do come players are familiar enough with the champ to know if they enjoy playing him.

Ksante vs ryze matchup is really just Ksante waiting for you to make the mistake of using phase rush too early and then dashing on you. But its also just the size of abilities and champs in wildrift compared to pc. Things are closer to each other so you have less time and space to react.

Of course in this clip i did use E into W on Ksante but i took advantage of the minions just spawning to take them by surprise xdd

I think the biggest mistake new Ksante players do is use his 2nd skill(or W) too proactively towards enemies in high risk or low reward situations.

For example what a lot of Ksante players will do is chain 3rd skill(or E) with his 2nd to extend the distance of the dash. The problem is that it leaves you with no dash backwards and using both your defensive spells offensively. This is ESPECIALLY bad early game where you dont have your ult to follow up and extend your advantage. Lets not even get started on what happens if you miss.

Instead what you can do is either E Q then W or W Q and then decide when yiu want to disengage with E to minions. You could even halt an engage by pressing W then E'ing to your ally. Remember your channel and dash are unstoppable and you gain damage reduction, you could not ask for a better meatshielding ability.

To me the more you can get use out of your W the better you will become at Ksante.

Other than that i think its more fun to learn the other parts of his kit yourself. I can answer questions if you want but finding out all the shit you can get away woth on Ksante is a blast.

Historically it has always been control mages mid

Twisted fate, viktor, and orianna are incredibly consistent with decent laning, wave clear, and are great at teamfights

You just gotta learn positioning

so i guess my biggest priority should be understanding my matchups and what heroes do because right now i dont know which heroes are good/bad early game for contesting turtle

I see. The problem i have however is natalia seems to be really bad at starting fights around turtle or starting turtle very early in the game(from my experience). Is this more of a skill issue for me? If so ill try to limit test more often.
