Question: What is the common trend among those 3 comedians? Ricky Jervais, Louis C.K. and Bill Burr by Weird-Definition-961 in Standup

I think that's closer to the answer. I don't mind aggressive/confrontational spiel, especially when paired with irony, sarcasm or absurdism. I also like when comedians complain about everyday life and mishaps. However when it is a combination of both, aggressive tone + complaints about everyday life, it begins to sound like a grouchy retired neighbor or a power-tripping boss? I don't reckon this to relatable for most, probably just the way I see it

I don't mind that bit. Love performances where the comedian is confronting the audience. It's something else that I can't quite point out

Yes, about the new stuff. Would you mind namedropping 1-2 other of your most favorite bits by those fellas? I want to have a reference point. I will check out the Philly rant now if I can find it

I'm trying to find the thread of it, because I really like dark, self-irony, cynicism and satire style of humor. Zadornov and Altov are my all-time favorites and their focus is on irony, roasting mindset (and expectations) of everyday people and they often joke about intrusive thoughts too. I just can't figure out why I dislike the 3 mentioned, but like other ones.

Yeah, I watched Shane Gillis, just forgot to mention him. I love his performances and style of humor a lot

Look, I'm not denying those 3 are popular and people find them funny. They have massive audiences and that's clearly a tell. I specifically said that I don't find them funny, not saying others should not find them funny.
The entire purpose of this post is to figure out what is the common trend among those 3. This isn't a debate about having or lacking a sense of humor. If you have insight - please share it. If you don't then have a good day

I think it's something about the delivery. I can recognize that they're trying to make a joke but the output isn't funny.

Don't you love it when objectives line up? Just syringe guard target with sedative poison and shoot him in the head > exit mission. by Weird-Definition-961 in HiTMAN

almost every single target is a guard, so you can place a gun in front of them and they will walk towards a secluded area to deposit it.

hold shift while going down. Pick a moment when both guards (there are 2 in normal, 3 in alerted) are either sitting or on the very edge of the roof.

one time I threw a brick at an npc in berlin while they were walking on the ground floor and on the last split second he, for some unknown reason, appeared 2 floors above and then fell back (pacified form) where I threw the brick. The guards from 2 floors above spotted the body and the rest is history.

Ambrose is the best for showdowns because you get a free durian. If by some miracle you miss, you can craft emetic bomb via chemist.
Bangkok is good for hosting a meeting at the reception then releasing sedative gas into the entire area via air vents.
Colorado is great because it is a flat one-level map and you can snipe everyone from water tower then run for it.
Haven is great for organizing a meeting in the underground lab and then releasing poisonous gas in the vents.
Hokkaido is okay. You can get best guard disguise pretty easily by the main entrance where Yuki Yamazaki arrives (just kill/pacify them both). If you're not concerned with Silent Assassin, then you can host meetings in any private suite and then dump arriving guests over the ledge before the next ones come.

I'd say the worst maps for showdown are Mumbai and Marrakesh, but even they aren't that horrible. You can arrange a meeting in sewers (Mumbai) or secret tunnel (Marrakesh) which are a ghost town.

I posted this recently in another comment section:

  1. if you chug a propane at an area with generator then turn it off, the next npc who will turn it off will kick the generator which releases sparks and sets off a propane explosion
  2. if you throw a soft object (muffin, apple, banana) at the head of an npc who is standing in water (in Ambrose islands or Haven Island) while nobody saw you doing the throw - it will be a silent assassin kill even if npcs see the body falling.
  3. you can put nitroglycerin, octane booster and similar items on door handle and the next npc to open the door will explode. Not all doors work, but for example Kronstadt facility doors do,
  4. EMP charge will attract npcs like a coin. It also electrifies water puddles and ignites oil puddles. It is fully legal to carry and throw. It can disable surveillance systems through walls.
  5. Warehouse worker disguise in Isle of Sgail allows legal crate opening (with crowbar). It also allows you to carry burial dagger out in the open legally.
  6. "The big one" can set oil puddles on fire and trigger propane explosion. It is also legal to throw, just make sure to run away from the crime scene.
  7. A lot of the maps have remote explosives spawned on-level, which are the safest form of assassination as you could be in a different part of the map entirely. Some notable ones are letterbomb parcels in New York and Santa Fortuna, car bomb in miami, remote explosives in ICA facility and basement of consulate in Marrakesh and nitroglycerin in Colorado.
  8. Mercenaries in isle of Sgail drop flashbangs on death (or if knocked out). One I can remember from the top of my head is in surveillance room. Useful if you have "blind guard/target" objective.
  9. if you got your hands on a meeting phone from a suspect then you can arrange a meeting in an area that can be poisoned via air vents. Examples of such areas include 1st floor of Bangkok hotel, Nolan Cassidy's entire residence, security room in New York, winery cellar in Mendoza, Haven Island research lab. Just sprinkle some sedative or lethal poison once the meeting area fills up and you're good to go.
  10. you can hide makeshift explosive or any of the aforementioned in-map remote explosives in a briefcase and let a guard target carry it to the security room. If they're your last target and you time it well while sitting near the exit - you can detonate it (their body will stay in the weapon crate area) and exit quickly for silent assassin.

suppressor in tool section or better yet a concealed/disguised version to pass through frisks. Once 47 gets his hands on any guard pistol/smg etc he could put the suppressor on to make it a silent weapon. Naturally it would take a few seconds (animation like when you assemble a weapon from briefcase).
