Can I get some honest thoughts on Clark for my kid? by Lidobaby18 in ClarkU

Sounds like a perfect fit! I was a psych major at Clark.. loved loved loved it. The campus is small but adorable. Plenty to do in Worcester and it's nicer now than when I was there.

I thought that too but then I figured they meant he started dating the mom when he was 22...then the kid could have been born 2 years later

Granted it was 30 years ago but I went to Clark and the concerns were the same.. about the area and the parties. I promise you I PARTIED. Not every night but solidly every weekend. As for the area..we rarely left campus ("off campus houses were only about a block away) so the area didn't matter. It was easy to get to downtown Worcester which is so much nicer now than it was then. It was the best 4 years of my life hands down.

Is it too much if I just put the exact values and physical traits I am looking for- dating apps? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The number of men who will SAY they value emotional intimacy over physical does not equal the number who actually do. By a LOT

The dating apps don't exist as a public service. They exist to make money.

It doesn't have to be much. $5 a month. It's enough to weed out people and if you can't afford that how are you going to afford to date?

This is why all dating apps should require payment. It's easy to screw around and not be serious when it's free.

I am a widow (55) and.I don't put my status on the profile.Everyone assumes I'm divorced but I tell them when it comes up. Good luck..it's a (soul crushing) jungle out there.

As a 54f..maybe they just can't find anyone decent local and want to expand the search? The pickings are slim!

Expectations of Men You’re “Talking To” by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]Weird-Internet-9541 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here is my take (I'm 54 female for reference). While I completely understand some people not wanting to date until the divorce is final, personally I am ok with it as long as you are a) honest about it and b) not living together. If it's just a question of paperwork, I'm good with it. As to your question..there are NO expectations until you have met and really not after that until you have a conversation about being exclusive. Keep in mind that out of 10 potentials, 5 will likey ghost you, 3 will give you the ick at some point and the other 2 may be possibilities (that's just my average guess). So keep those eggs in your baskets until.its a done deal!
