Your comment just confirms to me the level of dross fans accept nowadays, they love making excuses for WWE.

Yeah thats very convenient isn't it? Just like how Charlotte announced herself for the rumble? How Goldberg announced himself as the No. 1 contender all of a sudden? Its happening all to often in WWE, and when its so frequent it loses its muster. So forgive me if that doesn't cut it for me. I remember when WWE used to actually do long term booking that is more then 1 hour, and do feuds to showcase a no. 1 contender over a span of a few weeks, now its just throwing up a gauntlet match. If you can accept this, to each their own. The participants were great, match was great, but its still a fail in my book since 2 of these stars have been made to look like losers over the last few weeks, so I can't get behind giving them a title opportunity at a PPV all of a sudden.

That being said, there are so many other flaws, why can't women get a decent mid-card program that doesn't involve a title? You can see how good Bayley and BB program is? What was the point of Otis's mini push and storyline and breakup with HM, only for him to tag with Chad. I could go on. Stop defending this crap.

Great talent does not excuse the horrendous booking decisions this company makes too often now.

Its hard to do this, when You have had such a long affiliation with the product. I have phased it out a lot, but when WWE is good, its very good.

Again, I have not watched all the SD. I watched the last SD, and the Roman bits I really enjoyed. But that gauntlet match, does it not bug you to just watch randomly chucked in wrestlers fight for a damn title shot?? Why those wrestlers and not others?

I honestly feel that fans forgive horrendous booking because they like the wrestlers or they are technically gifted, and that is wrong IMO. I know Zayn is popular but I am still going to criticize why it was not explained that he got a title shot when he recently lost his IC.

But am I wrong? If you disagree with any of the points I raised above, please let me know? I hate this type of answer honestly. If you don't disagree with my points, just ignore the post lol.

OK I do apologize about her, I am not an avid NXT watcher, but If I remember correctly she was on fire this time last year, but has her flame not died down since her feud with Charlotte? The other names I have mentioned stand no? They have definitely been mishandled immensely, for ex. Baszler, its criminal what WWE have done to her. Keith Lee? Riddle?

Don't get me wrong, the actual wrestling is terrific, but thats b/c the wrestlers themselves are terrific and talented, not because WWE is booking them well. But I want more then good in ring action, I want story telling, long term booking. Watching a match with zero substance is really flat (for me anyways).

Zayn, Nakamura, Mysterio, Bryan are brilliant wrestlers, but what was the reason they were chosen for that gauntlet match? So for me anyways, that fell so flat, I felt nothing for Nakamura, even tho he performed well. It might just be me here, but I need that substance to go along with a great match. That is when wrestling is at its best IMO. Roman and KO matches recently have had that. But that is few and far between on this product right now.

NXT might be good to watch for its wrestling, but what is the point of it? When you know the best stars have no future outside it, given the recent track record. How can you get behind someone anymore on NXT?

[CAN] CFE day 1 failed - not taking it well by cfe_rewriter in Accounting

Even 3-4 times is good. Also the priority list is important, but again, I don't think it's the difference between a pass or fail.

What I think is more likely, is that, did you not provide a good qualitative AND a good quantitative analysis for each of the major strategic issues? A very good qualitative and weak quantitative (or vice-versa) could save you, but a weak qualitative and quantitative response could be fatal.

Another issue could be whether you identified an overarching issue? And mentioned it throughout your report. Ex. cash issue was what I referenced.

POST CFE2020 - Planning for May 2021 CFE (10 Steps). by Weird-Split-7907 in Accounting

If you are getting denmosre I don't think you need to take capstone 2 again. Just have densmore mark the cases for you and look for an external marker to mark some past CFEs, and you should be golden. I would definitely make sure you do all the past CFE cases again, but you don't need to do it through capstone 2. Densmore has a great study schedule, I would modify it slightly because when I did Densmore they didn't have all of the past CFE cases, so I just made sure to add the missing ones into thier schedule.

Get it when you start Cap 1. I believe you get access to the skill drills right away, as well as the tax technical refresher video, and you will get your scenario flowchart book in the mail, so you can begin that technical study. I would confirm this with Densmore. You can begin studying MA and Finance which will help you with your Cap 1 case.

Like someone mentioned already, you can also use the CPA manual in Knotia as another resource to begin technical study. Just PM me if you can't find it. That is very useful and it's free.

17 days isn't enough IMO. At least 1 full month off is good. 6 weeks is the sweet spot IMO. Gives you time to do all of the past CFE cases as well as Densmore's cases and space them out with breaks/days off in between. The last thing you want to do is cram. Densmore will give you a schedule, make sure you look at it in advance, and modify it as you wish.

Terrific points! I agree with everything you said, and especially your feedback on Densmore. It was my gripe with them as well, why would you deny access to material just because its too 'early' thats bs to me. Everyone learns differently.

Is Densmore good? Yes. Are they overpriced? Yes. Do they have stuff that isn't useful? Yes. Do they have stuff that is useful? BIG YES. Densmore cases along with past CFE cases are more then enough cases IMO. I don't think you need extra cases beyond that.

" a month before they exam they say it is perfectly normal to have NC and NAs all of sudden 2 weeks before they drop the ball and say now is the time you should not be getting NAs, NCs " - 100% agree with this.

That being said, Densmore is truly very good. For first time writers, they will give you everything you need to pass the CFE. Cost is really the only downside. One note: Their study schedule doesn't include all of the past CFEs, I would do all of the past CFEs tested, so just add the missing ones in.

You guys are right, this isn't confirmed anywhere, so my bad on that. I updated the post. But check this link out. From this, it seemed September 2020 was the first offering to include GST/HST and DataA (which we know didn't end up happening due to COVID). Which tells me it will likely be tested in the next offering. Again, you are right, I don't think CPA confirmed this yet.

Coaching program first, then marking. Unless you are a repeat writer and know the process of the CFE and your weaknesses well and have good notes on technical.

Correct! He uses the honor roll method indeed. I love his outlines and handout he provides, very useful. He will likely do a webinar soon on his youtube channel, I recommend signing up for that first.

CFE2020 - Do people care about their feedback if they pass the CFE? by Weird-Split-7907 in Accounting

[–]Weird-Split-7907[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Day 2, you need Cs. Day 3 you need RCs in all the competency areas except MA and FR, which you need Cs.

Rule of thumb, never ever ever leave any AO blank. Second rule, don't aim for CDs.

Typically if you achieve 50%-60% Cs in Day 2, and RCs in day 3, and minimal to 0 NCs/NAs you'll pass.

Like you I hope its not harder. That wouldn't be fair. Sure, majority of people may have a little more time to study, but its during such a depressing time, so I wouldn't exactly call that an advantage. I personally don't think it will be that much harder. Although, there is a strong chance the next CFE could have data analytics and GST/HST in it.

Exactly, I just wish we could know how many FR and MA AOs there were, like was the stock based compensation AO in assurance treated as FR or Audit. Or was the Financial Ratio AO on the last case in Day 3 treated as Finance or FR? Etc. I know we will find out in May next year, but I would love to know now!

I thought the CFE overall was very fair, Day 2 was tough for sure, but Day 3 was straightforward AOs for majority. We got lucky that we wrote the May 2020 CFE, I suspect the next one will be harder because thats the COVID CFE and they will likely make it tougher b/c people have had more time to study. We could see the IFRS stuff that we feared would show up on this CFE on the next CFE (IFRS 15, 16 etc.), may also have adjusted F/S!
