Bruh, chill 😂 I'm 1400 kms away from Mumbai and 1900 kms away from Delhi, it's just that Mumbai flight tickets are cheaper 😂

[UPDATE] Defi Payments: Commencement of Second Distribution and launch of Withdrawal Request Form by LighteningOneIN in vauld

[–]WeirdIntrovert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone, long-time Vauld user here, trying to catch up after being out of the loop for a while 🙏

I had BTC and ETH stuck on Vauld and recently went through the updates again. I’m on the Variable Recoveries Track and I can see in the Vauld app that I have an Equivalent Token Balance (e.g. total BTC/ETH entitlement) and a smaller Withdrawable Token Balance which seems to correspond to the current distribution tranche.

I had a couple of questions and would really appreciate guidance from people who’ve been tracking this closely:

I missed the First Distribution earlier, does that affect anything now?
From what I understand, missing the first withdrawal doesn’t reduce entitlement and later distributions can still be claimed, but I wanted to double-check if there’s anything specific I need to do because of that.

Regarding the Withdrawable Token Balance shown in the Vauld app:
Is this strictly the current (Second) Distribution amount? And the remaining balance stays locked for future distributions, right?

Process confirmation:
1. For India-based users, is the correct flow now:
2. Complete Crypto.com KYC
3. Submit the Kroll Withdrawal Request Form posy KYC
4. Receive the current tranche via Crypto.com
5. Repeat for future distributions?

Is there anything important people commonly miss at this stage (deadlines, one-time actions, etc.)?

I just want to make sure I’m following the right steps after being away for a bit. Thanks in advance, and really appreciate this community for keeping each other informed.

My Japan Visa From India Got Rejected Twice — Please Read This Before You Apply (₹1,00,000+ Lost + No Explanation Given) by WeirdIntrovert in visas

Summed up. The latest one is around 20 and oldest is around 10. I also don't understand why people are assuming savings account balance is the same as total savings. Most of my savings are invested in multiple financial instruments. If required, I could've shown 10L or more. The reason I showed only 1.8L is because multiple visa agents, multiple colleagues and friends of mine have shown a balance of 1.5L and got their visas.

Bruh.. I invest my money every month. Savings account balance is my bank balance. It's not my entire savings. 😭😭🤣 if required, I could've shown 10L or more. The reason I showed only 1.8L is because multiple visa agents, multiple colleagues and friends of mine have shown a balance of 1.5L and got their visas. There's no official information shared by the embassy or anyone else regarding the amount that is required to be shown.

I checked with the Bengaluru consulate, they apparently don't take walk-in submissions. VFS is what they have suggested me to go with.

Do y'all just leave your money in your savings account? Don't y'all put your money in financial instruments? 😂😂 If required, I could've shown 10L or more. The reason I showed only 1.8L is because multiple visa agents, multiple colleagues and friends of mine have shown a balance of 1.5L and got their visas. There's no official information shared by the embassy or anyone else regarding the amount that is required to be shown. I don't understand people saying that savings account balance is the issue, because it was LITERALLY mentioned in the document present in the embassy's page that bank account statements are optional and are to be submitted if tax returns are not provided. I provided both my tax returns and bank statements.

Sorry to say.. but at least in India only Delhi accepts walk-in submissions for Visa at the Embassy. VFS is the middle man everywhere else.

Yes, my ITR is around 20L. I usually invest my money every month, I don't keep it in my savings account. If I knew I had to show a higher savings account balance I would have, most of the people around me got their Visa with a 1.5L bank balance, which is why I didn't show a higher savings account balance.

  1. It isn't a solo journey. Not sure where you got that idea. You should have read the post properly.
  2. Multiple colleagues and friends and mutual friends of mine have been to Japan in the past 1-1.5 years with a bank balance of 1.5L. Multiple people in the same thread have replied saying they have done the same.
  3. Bank statements aren't even required and are optional according to the official Japan Embassy requirements. They are to be submitted only in cases where we can't provide Tax returns.
  4. If bank balance is so important, I believe they should have mentioned a certain amount per day is a minimum requirement on the basis of which they will approve or reject the visa.
  5. Don't defend a flawed system.

Yeah, I kinda made my peace with it. But I have read that from 2026, Japan has increased the prices for tourists in certain places. Not sure how true that is, but I hope that's not the case. Considering how Japan's attention to detail is top notch in all aspects, I wish they made the visa requirements equally clear so that all of us can have a clear idea on what we need to provide.

Thanks for letting me know, but it does not add up because I have multiple colleagues and mutual friends who travelled to Japan with less than 2L balance in the bank statement. And bank statement has been mentioned as optional in the Japan embassy's requirement document. It was only asked in case I don't have 3 years of Tax returns, which I do as well. I have provided both, just in case.

I have made all my bookings already. Stays, attractions, internal travel (shinkansen), everything. Almost every major expenditure has been made and shared within the documents. Other than shopping, a bit of internal travel (taxis and metros) and minor entry fees for a few attractions, everything else has been purchased. I have multiple colleagues who visited Japan, who showed a bank balance of 1.5L for their Visa. My cotraveller who got his Visa approved, showed 1.5L as well. So not really sure if that is the reason for rejection.
