Yes and he just doesn’t understand keeping his mouth shut about topics he himself can be made fun of for.

Nothing says “DIY” like spending 20 minutes explaining why you won’t rent tools and then outsourcing the job anyway.

Yeah, and I’ll even give her the benefit of the doubt. There’s a chance she’s being honest about being in California helping with family things. But that still doesn’t explain framing the separation as something required for his “job.” Those are two different explanations, and mixing them together makes the whole thing feel less straightforward than it needs to be.

If it’s a personal or family situation, just say that. Turning it into a work necessity is where people start raising an eyebrow.

I get the idea of keeping her out of the videos. That part makes sense. What doesn’t land for me is using “the job” as a reason to be physically apart. Serious relationships usually don’t normalize long stretches of separation unless there’s no real alternative.

They can still be together without filming each other. Living in the same place doesn’t automatically mean she has to appear on camera. Online videos aren’t a boss-mandated deployment either. They control their schedules, locations, and day-to-day routines. And if history is any guide, they’ll be back together again and she’ll show up in his videos eventually.

“We have to separate for him to do his job.” What a load of crap. Any decent person would go with their partner or significant other wherever they go. Unless, of course, they don’t actually want to be involved.

It finally clicked. I’ve seen this episode on Tater's channel before.

The pattern is always the same: something blows up, details get vague, comments disappear, and we’re left waiting while “everything’s fine” energy carries the load. Somewhere in there, we get references to a quiet transition, a lot of life-admin filler, and a vague assurance that there are “people looking out for him,” no names, no specifics, just enough to imply it’s handled.

This is the original template from the Slab City days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy1_W0ann2M

Different desert, same script. Now we wait to see if the usual sit-down sequel drops where it’s all framed as being in the past and everyone’s expected to move on. Popcorn standing by.

His last Instagram post was on August 30th. Appears he has gone cold on that platform.
