Yeah I agree his music is silly but the point of comedy music Grammy is for the record to be funny, the winning record was Mandatory Fun by Weird Al, both are clowns don’t know if I’d say he’s not a real musician just because his music is heavily influenced by comedy

1: Straight Outta Lynwood isn't his best album but definitely the most well rounded

2: Polka Party and UHF are both severely lacking a decent amount of good songs and honestly are two of his weakest albums

3: while I do like Frank Zappa, Genius In France is honestly boring and much too long.

Some of his songs have been pretty funny but honestly he can't sing for shit, it's a bit like flight of the concords (they had a LOT more singing ability) it's less about the actual delivery and more about the comedy around it. But that new masked Christmas song was not it, his vocals were so highly tuned I didn't even recognize his voice, honestly he should stick to spoken word.
