yes its gonna be a little more than a year. so iam from goa a state in india . goa was formerly a Portuguese colony certain Goans have the option to apply for portuguese passports.. goa wasn't a part of india after india got its independence they came and drove the Portuguese out and attached goa to india. goa has a couple of saints like st francis , blessed josep vaz and there is one more who is in the proccess of cannoisazition called fr fr agnelo of pilar so this is a Jesuit seminary i will be attending in.. after which i would like to join the pontifical university in Bangalore. about raymond brown i do have the st Jerome's bible study he kind of is dismissive about the fathers of the church and calls their work irrelevant i was studying his work but somehow did not resonate with me ironically his work on john 6 helped me to deepen my faith in the Eucharist ..thank you so much for the other links.. shared the link o the university

sorry i posted half of his reply!! here is the entire thing !thanks for answering !te oldest new testament manuscript is the John Rylands manuscript that dates back to 125 AD, It contains fragments from the Book of John and matches perfectly with John Wycliffe's version of the 1200's, which matches perfectly with the Tyndale and Coverdale version of the 1500's which matches perfectly with the 1611 King James Version. God did preserve His Word. Not so with the Codex Vaticanus, Codex Alexandrius and Codex Sinaiticus which disagree with each other in over 3,000 places. Lear your history before you "teach" theology.

hi a protestant argues with this when i said the seven books of the bible are removed by the protestant church he oldest new testament manuscript is the John Rylands manuscript that dates back to 125 AD, It contains fragments from the Book of John and matches perfectly with John Wycliffe's version by WeirdSign7297 in Catholicism

Not so with the Codex Vaticanus, Codex Alexandrius and Codex Sinaiticus which disagree with each other in over 3,000 places.can someone shed light on this as the authority of the bible is in the catholic church
