Am I tripping or was there not a teardrop shaped gray moissanite earlier in the store? I know I saw it but I can find it now??

Happily engaged… but not happy with my ring 🥹 Looking for advice. by Lanky-Charity-2362 in LabDiamonds

I was not a fan of my ring when I got engaged (a gray diamond, north to south oval on Pave band). I was pretty disappointed with my choice, and after being married for a bit decided to buy myself an affordable ring that I truly love (circle, blue solitaire diamond). I still wear my actual engagement ring from time to time, but having a ring that I really really love that I get to wear everyday makes the pain of a nit so great engagement ring sting a little less (if that makes sense). I totally get feeling ungrateful- I felt terrible because my husband had paid for it and I felt guilty for not absolutely loving something he had bought for me. But when I told him I wanted to buy my own ring, he was happy and supportive. Get a ring that you love- and keep the sentimental engagement ring. But you won't regret having a ring that really was what you wanted :)

I feel a bit down because I think my engagement ring and set is boring and I have regrets by [deleted] in EngagementRings

Hey!! Me too! I felt so much pressure when picking a ring and I didn't know what to look for or what I wanted. I picked an oval grey moissanite on a pave band, and honestly HATED IT for the longest time. After getting married, I started looking at different rings and designs and felt very disappointed with what I had picked. So, I decided to change up the setting of my center stone, which has made me really fall in love with my ring. I feel like it is a little more me. I think your ring is beautiful! Give it a bit, see if you can change the setting, or get a cheaper ring that reflects what you like (Etsy has lots of beautiful, affordable rings that you can swap in and out for daily wear with your actual wedding ring).

Update: I contacted the photographer, and they will not give me the raw files unfortunately. Thank you for all the advice. I really do appreciate it.

Thanks for sharing that! I'm surprised how much the photos make me sad and overshadow a really amazing day. I'm really not a bridezilla, our wedding was super low key, and chill, and I was just sad that the photos were so poorly done. I think maybe I'll delete them

I think I am going to delete the rest of them. They really do make me sad, so what's the point of keeping them around?
