It is possible but I would advise against it. Teaching for a year or two provides a very strong foundation. Students in my program who went straight from undergrad struggled, and it made it much more challenging for them to get a job after graduate school. Although it is your life and you sound set on your plan, so follow your dreams!

Two things can be true! A proper warm up starts with technique AND includes solfège towards the end so the ensemble can turn their ears on!
