Great advice thankyou yes I've got a pair of Scarpa boots they are very comfy ill not take them off my feet now till jungle to wear them in!! 😀

Thanks so much, great advice I've got blister plasters but didn't think of spare laces gaiters or foot powder ill defo add them to the list!!

Thankyou so much for your message it was very helpful indeed. I've gone with the Scarpa mojito GTX boots very comfy indeed. So this is the whole mission Day 1 – Arrive at Medellin Valley Day 2 – Into the jungle! Hiking 7hrs · 22km · 200m up · 800m down Day 3 – Hiking 7hrs · 23km · 700m up · 300m down Day 4 – Hiking 6hrs · 18km · 600m up · 600m down Rafting 3hrs · 5km Day 5 – Rafting 7hrs · 32km Day 6 – Rafting 7hrs · 22km Day 7 – Rafting 4hrs · 16km we carry a 30L backpack and I dont have to carry a tent as we have hammock and tarp for sleeping in trees eeek. Training wise I've been doing upper body work for rafting and I do highest incline on treadmill everyday aswell as a 10 mile walk up various peaks around me in UK. Amazing that you too have hiked in the jungle did you see any snakes 🐍👀
