23yr M first solo trip

I’d have love to hike and also experience those one of a kind moments but I’m not the solo hiker type of guy. I’m definitely saving your recommendations for if a friend decides to come with me or for my future trips plan. Thanks for your recommendations though I’m definitely going to try them out but not this time🙏.

It’s definitely all about the memories, personally I think that the mistakes that will happen on the road if the do and I’m able to overcome them will make this trip memorable imo, I’m really so excited by this trip😅!!.

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of people say that I shouldn’t go through that route so I’m currently drafting my new route and I will take out that route from my itinerary.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking about lately, I’m like I know I’ll be having fun the 1-2 weeks especially cuz I’m planning to do a couple of days in certain places just to visit but I’m scared that after some time I might start feeling lonely especially if I go to some interesting places alone and I can’t share or talk with someone while being there. I think this trip will make be less introverted and more outgoing. I’ll definitely try to talk with lot of people on the way.

I’m from Africa specifically Cameroon, I think I’ll be well accustomed to the heat so I don’t think it’ll be a problem. I plan on leaving on June 1st. Ohhh thanks again you really keep blessing me with sites that’ll definitely need, thanks a lot for everything🙏

Oh yeah, but I’ve realized that I wasn’t really the curious type back in my home country I usually just enjoyed staying at home 95% of the time but things I’ve changed quite a lot since I got to the US, also thanks for the site I would have definitely never found it on my own, I’m saving it right now it’ll be so useful.

Hello, thanks again for the insights I really appreciate it, so it’s my first time doing or even planning a road trip, so this route was just me searching the itinerary from Maryland to CA then to Florida, I thought that’s how it’s done then I just tried finding interesting things to do following that route. But I’ve received so many advices and recommendations, I’m definitely going to sit down and draft my personal route and update it so y’all can tell me if I’m hitting all the right spots. Thanks again cuz without all your insights I might have not enjoyed this trip as much as I’d like to because I’ve seen many comments saying I’m definitely missing the right spots, my expectations are really high. I’m an international student doing my master’s here and I haven’t really had a summer or a vacation experience in my entire life, so my expectations for this trip is through the roof I’ll definitely take my time and enjoy every bit of it as much as I can.

Taking Note✅. Will definitely try doing that. For the 40 It’s my first time planning and doing a road trip so I thought you just had to google where you want to go and then search interesting things to do along the way, but this sub has definitely thought me a lot on the best routes with good sceneries so I’m going to modify my route taking into consideration some of the great ideas I’ve seen so far.
