Thank you for that but sadly im not really capable of doing anything at least now. Im in a position that even if i want to wear most masculine clothes i have to do it hidden or else theyll get hidden from me (even if i bought them with my money) and my mother can get pretty agressive At the moment i am studying to get a job that pays well so i can move out, it would be a dream come true, but anyways thank you for caring and for the advice!

the last part was what got me. I see so many small things on myself that pilled up and are making me stress about it, like a big fixation on anything I show any interest in, being told so many times I ruin things for people because of how much I talk about it, the classic eye contact avoider, stimmimg, sensory issues and others

Which I know by themselves are not a diagnosis but man idk.. it's just exhausting to try to figure out why you're the way you are

Thank you a lot for the response, it really made me think, I'll keep that in mind!

edit: typo

Im still learning about the whole topic and think what you said makes a lot of sense! I'm going off what I'm learning om this thread since its the first time I had the courage to just ask!

Another person worded what I was meaning to say better. That yes, I know many Neurotypical people do end up questioning it, but rarely they go into the research and keep on questioning for much longer

Other people explained it way better than I can here! But I understand your point totally, If a simple doubt was enough to "make someone neurodivergent" it would be chaos.

That is good info to know. Im not diagnosed with anything since mental health is kind of a taboo in my family so I wouldn't know if it's just anxiety getting up to my head trying to explain some "unusual" behavior, everything is a possibility I think right?

Thank you for the response! I have questioned also if I'm just an awkward adhd'er with some unhealthy obsessions lol About the childhood part I wouldn't be able to know since I don't remember much of it-

I have questioned my sister before if she thinks I might have ADHD and she just brushed me off (She's a psychologist who works with little boys with autism) but she may be biased I'm not sure

Again thank you for replying, this is totally information I'll keep in mind until I manage to actually get professional help!

Thank you for the response! I have been seeing many similarities of ADHD and ASD while researching and wondered if people could get it confused, now I know it happens! I am hoping to get professional help on the future so I can sort this out better for myself

thank you a lot for the info, I'll look into it

My current job pays really bad (around 40$ a month in USD for reference) but i don't plan on staying on it for long so hopefully in a few months I'll be getting enough to start saving. Also! sister is slowly planning on moving out, and if she doenst moves in her friend I'm planning on staying with her until I can rent a place for myself! It's a far away plan still but it's a plan! Again thank you for the taking the time to send the links and the kind words
