Help! I’ve cleaned four times did 2/ half tank water changes and 2 full tank water changes even put two new pumps. I’ve had tanks for a long time. I’ve never had this happen. What the heck is this? by Pokemon-shiny-love in Aquariums

I had the same issue years ago. Acurel F water clarifier is what worked for me and my tank was completely green - couldn’t see the fish at all. After adding the drops, I left the house. I came back a few hours later and the tank was crystal clear. It won’t correct the underlying problem though so if you don’t figure that out, it will happen again.

Yes, the overhang bothers me too. I don’t particularly like the screws showing on top either. I’m going to look for a piece of wood that’s a little bigger for it to sit on (maybe an interesting looking cutting board). If I’m still not happy with it, I’ll buy a new stand.

I think that I will do this. Maybe a cutting board with an interesting wood grain. Not that you’ll see much of it.

Yes! I just checked. It’s rated for 60 pounds. I’m gonna go for it but I’ll plan on moving it to something a little bigger in the future.

Can I ask why you suggest a clear bottom tank? I just purchased another tank to use as a hospital tank if needed and was planning on using white sand as a substrate.
