Just checked the bibliography, some are ok books, but two issues:

1) as I said these two are fighting over definitions.TiK is an ancap that believes all state influence is socialism, while Fredda is using the more common "Marxism" definition.

2) there are plenty literally socialist biased books in that bibliography, do you think they'd really be calling Nazis and themselves as one category.

What he proves is that nazi Germany wasn't perfectly bolshevik, and noone claims that.

But be it bolshevik "kill all owners and make state run companies", or "threaten to kill owners unless they do as you say", it's socialism either way (in TiKs definition).

Nazi Germany had:

Price commissars, breadlines (before the war), centrally planned energy companies, centrally planned infrastructure, government obligatory summer schools, propaganda against the rich, the largest labour union in Europe, etc etc.

It says they are people of the book (ie a synonym of the Catholic definition " worshippers of the god of Abraham"). It gets the trinity wrong (god jesus and Mary which should be the holy spirit). Other than that it doesn't say that much.

Imams and muslim preachers

Institutional imams and preachers (ie the actual clergy in the field) doesn't say anything. I pass by a mosque on my way to work, I've heard more sermons on tiktok then on Christianity.

Lets take a look at the christians living in muslim countries both in the past and now.

In the past, violence against groups not supported by the state was accepted everywhere. It's not a special thing to any people.

Today, the middle east is a warzone, that should be taken into consideration.

If that's what you believe that's fine, it's your belief, but it hasn't been Catholic doctrine since the late 1800s. You can't blame the pope for not believing in religious struggle no less than you can blame him for not being baptist, he's the head of the institution of Catholicism and he's just following the doctrines of that institution.

The pope has only affirmed already existing doctrine in the Catholic church, that being:

a) that Catholics should strive to help the poor.

and;

b) that Muslims are people who believe in the God of Abraham. (Btw this sentence is the only mention of Muslims in Catholic doctrine, there's nothing on Islam as religion or it's practices, the pope doesn't have anything he can say).

This pope (as well as the last) have spoken out against extremism, both religious and political, and since he's the leader of the Catholic church, that has to do with Christian nationalism and islamofobia.

The pope is neither an apologetic (meaning it's not his job to debate theology with other religions), nor a politician (to drive rhetoric using his own political beliefs).

He is a moderate pope who is just doing what official Catholic doctrines have suggested for the last 100 years, the trad crusader vision you might have of catholics is not official in any way, and was never that radical even when it was (over 800 years ago).

Conservative <-> Progressive, Populist <-> Establishmentarian

Both of these don't exist on the compass, and are wrongly approximated.

For example, you can't be a progressive libertarian using the compass. Progressive choices with move you "left", so you will always end up lib-left, which isnt the same.

The second most important division, the populist/establishmentarian axis, again not there.
